Helperby Branch reopen from 14th April 2026
Helperby Branch will be open from tomorrow 14th April 2026 for appointments and medication collection. If you are travelling from Boroughbridge for an appointment please be aware the road at Brafferton remains closed so please plan your route before travelling and allow extra time.

Due to the current traffic disruptions, Helperby branch will be closed until further notice. Medications can be collected from the Boroughbridge surgery if required.

Important update re dispensary services. Due to unforeseen circumstances the dispensary will be closed between 1.30-2.30 and after 4pm today.

Thursday 5th February 2026 – Surgery Closure Notice
Please be aware that the surgery will be closed from 12.30pm today for staff training.
You will be able to use the online request form for non urgent, routine and admin requests. If you have urgent symptoms, you can call the Out of Hours service on 01423 224321. This service is run by Yorkshire Heath Network. Alternatively call NHS111 or visit NHS111 online.
In the event of a medical emergency, please call 999 immediately.
Please Note: The dispensary will also be closed during this time.
The surgery will reopen as normal at 8:00am on Friday 8th February 2026

The old address was supposed to redirect to the new one, but there has been some technical difficulties with this and it is not currently working.
Please use the new website with immediate effect. We are doing our best to get the message out there. The new address is on our phone message when calling the surgery also.
