Welcome to my page. I’m Dani. Birth & Postnatal Doula, Homeopath, Hypnobirthing practitioner and Massage Therapist with over 35 years in the health and wellness industry. Practicing Homeopathy, Hypnobirthing, Mindfulness techniques and Massage Therapy, my approach to treatment for each of my clients is always personal and individualised. Ultimately my aim is for subtle but tangible shifts that enable clients to tap into deep inner resources to step with confidence towards improved mental and physical wellbeing.
Passionate about supporting and empowering women, I enjoy the diverse and enriching knowledge that I’ve gained over time and feel blessed to be able to share it with my many clients.

Treasured feedback from a couple I supported in August 2024 when they welcomed their first baby. The cutie crochet creation is a keepsake to remind them of the day 💜🐸 I also have a crotchet item made for every birth I attend to remind me of something special that I experienced at each birth. They make me smile plus they're super cute and home made too 🧶🧡🫶🏻

Hi, I’m Dani and I run Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing workshops in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
Becoming a mother is a very personal journey. Using Hypnobirthing techniques during this sacred time can bring calmness, inner balance and empowerment, enabling you to step more confidently towards the life-changing experiences that motherhood brings.
A woman is designed to both grow and birth her baby – all the power she needs is already within her. Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing techniques will help her to recognise this. By practicing light self-hypnosis it’s possible to access a naturally occurring state of relaxation which benefits both mother and baby and provides a solid foundation at the beginning of their journey together, during pregnancy, that continues well beyond birth.
Passionate about my work, I feel honoured by the many women that allow me to walk beside them for such a monumental part of their journey through life. As an holistic therapist and Hypnobirthing practitioner I enjoy the diverse and enriching knowledge that I’ve gained over time and feel blessed to be able to share it with my clients.
My aim is for parents and parents-to-be to feel more prepared and empowered by the skills they will gain from the Mindful Mamma method, confident in their body’s own natural ability to birth, relying more on their own resources and instincts for birthing, new parenthood and beyond. From my own birth experiences and hearing the many birth stories that my clients share with me, this has taught me that while every birth is different, using mindfulness enables us to be calmly prepared and more open to whatever situation we find ourselves in the day our babies are born.
Why I love teaching Mindful Hypnobirthing
From the methodology of self-hypnosis, to the philosophy behind the powerful mind body connections, I love to explore the use of simple, practical techniques such as creative visualisation, breath work, self-hypnosis and mindfulness which mums-to-be can use to alter their perception of pain, boost confidence and feel in control on the day they meet their baby.
