A couple of weeks ago I made a big decision. I was sat at my desk in front of my computer and realised that I felt trapped. So, I’ve sold the desk and office chair and am now mobile, working from anywhere, I’ve had such a sense of freedom throughout my body since I made that decision. It’s surprising how we get stuck, doing the same thing over and over. If we look within the answers are there- we just have to sit long enough to notice

According to Polyvagal Theory, our bodies shift between three states:

💚 Safe & Social (Ventral Vagal) – When we feel secure, we thrive! We connect, think clearly, and feel joy. This is the "window of tolerance" where healing happens.

🔥 Fight or Flight (Sympathetic Nervous System) – When we sense danger, our body mobilises. This can look like anxiety, anger, or restlessness. If we stay stuck here, we may feel constantly on edge.

❄️ Freeze (Dorsal Vagal) – When stress overwhelms us, our system shuts down to protect us. We may feel numb, fatigued, or disconnected from the world.

✨ The good news? You can train your nervous system to spend more time in the safe & social state—helping you heal both emotionally and physically.
