This month is Stress Awareness Month, a reminder to check in on how you're coping.

Stress shows up differently for everyone - some people feel it physically with headaches, tight muscles, or trouble sleeping. Others notice changes in their mood, energy levels, or ability to concentrate. Left unchecked, stress can have a real impact on your day-to-day wellbeing.

The NHS Every Mind Matters programme offers straightforward advice on recognising stress and managing it. Small changes like staying active, reaching out to friends or family, and setting aside time to unwind can make a genuine difference.

If stress is becoming overwhelming or affecting your daily life, speak to your GP. There's always support available.

Did you know you can't permanently register with an NHS dentist?

68% of people wrongly believe they have the right to sign up with a dentist the same way they do with a GP, but that right was removed back in 2006.

You can only stay with an NHS dentist for the duration of your treatment, unless they keep you on an informal list for check-ups.

Healthwatch Lincolnshire are calling for permanent registration rights to be reintroduced so everyone can access preventative and urgent dental care throughout their lifetime.

Wednesday 11th March is Young Carer's Action Day.

Thousands of young people across the UK care for family members - often balancing school, friendships, and caring responsibilities that most young people don't usually face.

Young carers deserve recognition and support. If you're a young carer or know one, make sure they're aware of the support available.

Today marks International Women’s Day, a chance to recognise the importance of women’s health and wellbeing.

At HWLincs we're proud to support research and engagement work focused on women's health, from breastfeeding and pelvic health after birth, to ovarian cancer awareness.

Learning from people’s experiences helps build a clearer picture of what matters locally. If you want to help shape the future of women's health and social care in Lincolnshire, please consider sharing your experiences with us through Healthwatch Lincolnshire:
