As the Bank Holiday weekend approaches our residents have been working in earnest to get everything ready for an in-house 'Day at the fair'.

The music of choice was 60's and it was so good to see them all joining and so going along 🎤🎶🎶

We cannot wait to join in the fun on Monday 🏡

Our residents at The Haven were delighted to enjoy a trip to Blackfriars Theatre on Friday to watch 'Cilla' . Our amazing Activity Coordinator Geraldine Hodnett and Care Assistant Clare Rogers escorted them to the theatre and they managed to meet the cast!

Just look at the joy on their faces 💙💙

Our residents enjoyed a fabulous new game called, 'Sticky 13 Bingo' using playing cards to ensure a new fun way to play bingo.

Josie was the overall winner and was absolutely delighted 🥇

Then a game of skittles in the large lounge which always is a firm favourite 💪👌🥇

We welcomed back Zoolab to entertain our residents with all things Creepy Crawley!

Our residents love their visits and even got to hold them, soooooo brave 👏👏👏

Our lovely Activity Co-Ordinator Bev Jenks Jenkins has been helping our residents grow tomatoes and took Frank out to help with the weeding and see how they were growing.

Our residents are loving the new Gardening Club on a Friday with our Maintenance Manager Gareth.

We are hoping to expand our gardening club and get our local community involved! If you are 'green fingered' and wish to support our care home then please contact either Bev or Gareth on 01205 345005 🏡

Our lovely resident Anne Stinson is having a little break in hospital and so our Activity Co Ordinator Geraldine Hodnett went with her friend Jean to visit her and she was so happy to see them both. Anne is looking forward to coming back to The Haven to enjoy a home cooked meal and catch up with her friends.
