Last night it was my pleasure to offer Arthur a reflexology session to ensure he’s in tip top shape to start his challenge. He has been incredibly dedicated to his training all summer, getting up early before school to do some miles and spending evenings and weekends building up the distance.
Arthur, tomorrow will start his challenge and fund raising cycle event. He starts his journey in Rotherham and then will cycle all the way back to Wisbech! 120 miles over 2 days. For a young lad of 12 this is just incredible. Arthur wants to raise awareness for Juvenile Battens disease, a rare genetic disease that his 2 brothers Finley and Harrison have. He has already smashed his fund raising goal total, but if he could get more that would be amazing. ☯️Spleen energy is the fourth Season in Chi Medics an ‘Indian Summer’ phase. It is definitely not yet true Autumn, leaves are still green, sap is still present but there is a point of change.

☯️(TCM developed in the 1950’s, describes it as the fifth season (the 5 Elements) but here at Chi Medics we use 6 Phases and draw understanding from Classical Chinese Medicine)

☯️We see this season slightly differently; C.C.M uses this time to understand that there could be different presenting symptoms for clients, (of which there are many) to consider.

☯️Our Chi Medics Practitioners understand these corelations, they know that the human being can be affected on all levels and in different ways, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. There is so much to glean from the Spleen Energy indicators and characteristics along with its relationships with the other phases, (Elements).

☯️They understand that food can be used as cross-referencing tools, along with noticing symptoms like overthinking and anxiety, classic symptoms of Spleen Energy imbalances. fans Are you frustrated with the inconsistencies and differences in Reflexology Foot Charts?
As Dwight’s Foot chart was copyrighted. It unfortunately led to some charts changing aspects enough to fall in line with the copyright laws.

40 years ago, Moss M Arnold developed a completely new chart, a reflection of the human being using his Anatomical Reflection Theory.

This concept was produced 40 years ago and has an accurate and logical explanation to guide Reflexologists.
Adjustments can then be applied, to suit the receivers body/ reflection.

You can find the Systems of the body reflected through the feet and the Clinical Reflexology Foot Chart in the Chi Medics shop.

Recently it has attracted trainers to apply a similar idea to charts BUT be mindful of the fact that Moss’ perspective was not applied.
The perspective is vital, as it gives consistency when mapping.

Some people have also been misled to chart what they think are Reflexes but are actually often strong energy points

We keep our training in Reflexes and Energy points separate during training and introduce the correlations later for extra understanding 😊👌
