Safecare Network hosted a Primary Care Awards Celebration at The Forest Pines Hotel on the 12th of July 2024. This is an event which welcomes all of North Lincolnshire GP practices.

Earlier in the year Safecare Network disseminate Award Categories to the practices with the aim of gaining nominees, we then shortlist based upon the information given and announce the winners at our event, below are the categories and winners of 2024.

Practice Manager of the Year- Faith Woodcock – Church Lane Medical Centre.

Practice Nursing Award- Kerry Barnby – Ancora Medical Practice.

Reception Team of the Year- Church Lane Medical Centre reception team.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) of the Year - Paula-Jayne Hooton – South Axholme Practice.

Clinical Improvement Award: Long-Term Conditions- Diabetes Improvement Team – Church Lane Medical Centre.

Clinical Improvement Award: Public Health - Helen Kirk - Ancora Medical Practice.

GP Trainee of the Year - Dr. Amrou Abdelnaby – Ancora Medical Practice.

The General Practitioner of the Year- Dr Tauqir Hussain –Church Lane Medical Practice.

GP Team of the Year- The Oak Tree & Birches Medical Practice.

Clinical Improvement Award: Mental Health - Dr Hardik Gandhi – Cedar Medical Practice.

We hope everybody thoroughly enjoyed their evening celebrating with the primary care teams and our guests.

This Thursday we are holding a launch event at the Ironstone Centre.

This gives everyone in the local community a great opportunity to come and speak to some of the local services who are attending and can assist and advise you with any queries.

There will be FREE tea and coffee refreshments available during the event and Oak Tree are also hosting a cake stall with proceeds being raised for a local service.

We hope you can come along!

Instead of our usual Christmas raffle that is a £1 a ticket we thought is would be nice to have a Christmas Hamper Giveaway for the patients of Ashby Turn Primary Care Centre !
