🌊☀️ Sun Enters Pisces – A season of surrender & imagination

As the Sun moves into Pisces, we step into the final chapter of the zodiac, a season of reflection, intuition, and boundless imagination. Pisces, a mutable water sign, is associated with dissolution, compassion, and creative inspiration. Unlike the direct and structured signs, Pisces flows around obstacles, absorbing, adapting, and transcending.

Pisces is often described as the dreamer of the zodiac, seeking meaning beyond the material world. It is a sign of soft boundaries, blending emotions, ideas, and realities into one vast ocean of experience. Where Virgo refines through precision and order, Pisces refines through spiritual devotion and creative surrender.

The symbol of Pisces, the Two Fishes, reflects the dual nature of this sign, swimming between the world of form and the world of dreams. In mythology, it connects to Venus and Cupid escaping Typhon, emphasising the sign’s association with transcendence, devotion, and the search for divine connection.

With the Sun now in Pisces, this is a time for:

Surrender & Reflection – Letting go of rigid expectations and embracing fluidity.

Creativity & Imagination – Art, music, and poetry thrive under Piscean influence.

Spiritual Exploration – A period of deeper connection to the unseen and the mystical.

💙 Compassion & Empathy – An invitation to understand and support others with an open heart.

Welcome to Aquarius season!

January 19 – February 18

Can you recognise the Aquarian in the room? It’ll be the quirky, lively individual, striking up conversation around progressive idealism, offbeat subjects and unconventional ideas; all delivered with a magnetic genius and sometimes shocking quality, worthy of fellow Aquarians, Galileo, Mozart, Lewis Carroll and … Harry Styles.

Funny, perverse and obstinate, but also gentle, kind and compassionate. With a desire to seek out truth and honesty, Aquarians often possess a sharp intuition giving them insight to the bigger picture.

Aquarius has a restless quality, a refusal to conform, a need for lots of space and freedom, room to experiment, along with mental stimulation. Ruled by both Saturn and Uranus means they can lean towards a more studious and serious perfectionist originality, or else become something of the eccentric revolutionary. Either way, Aquarians often feel to be something of a misfit, seeking out the comfort of a crowd or a group of friends, and however much they value their independence and periods of solitude, too much time alone can cause them to become a little morose, uncomfortably introspective or even lonely.

Essentially a humanitarian, always looking out for the underdog and promoting equality, fairness and liberty, our Aquarian is everyone’s friend. Genuinely interested in people, they thrive on conversation, learning and a sincere desire to help society and, if possible, save the world. Technology, innovation, engineering, social work and anything future-oriented will suit Aquarius. They’re generally way ahead of their time, leading the way forward.

Aquarius is an air sign, so communication, thinking and brain activity are key. Which leads us to the tricky matter of feelings and emotional intimacy. The Aquarian preference is to keep it light with friendship first, to test the waters and see how things develop. They also have a bit of a reputation to detach from feelings and relationships without so much as a backwards glance. But Uranian emotions can be chaotic, they run deep, they’re caught in the mind and can struggle to reach the heart. Expression of emotion doesn’t come naturally, the need for independence kicks in, Aquarius doesn’t like to feel stifled, and emotions are left wanting.

The thing is, our Aquarian is vulnerable too, emotions can feel disconcerting and certainly at odds to a campaign for the greater good. A shared vision for the future and common interests go a long way when it comes to love, but don’t expect any traditional romantic gestures. When they do find their ideal partner, Aquarius can offer loyalty, support and love, as well as being a best friend.

Venus enters Capricorn on the 11th November – Relationships and partnerships shift on creating a solid foundation. Looking for loyalty, commitment and stability in partners. Creating long-lasting relations in that period, based on safety and security. Long-term investments, financial and materialistic results are very important.

Scorpio Season!

23 October – 21 November

Scorpio sometimes gets a bit of bad press, with comments about a ‘sting in the tail’, a tendency to be intense, secretive, perhaps jealous and controlling and maybe even manipulative … But what can certainly be said about those who have Scorpio strong in their natal chart - and by that I mean a Scorpio Sun, Moon, or Rising sign, an emphasis on Mars and/or Pluto, or a well-occupied eighth house – is that they invariably possess a powerful magnetism, the sharpest intuition, an instinctive understanding of human behaviour and a deeply emotional nature.
Appearance-wise, Scorpios can often have an intense gaze. It’s an unnerving quality because it can seem as though they see everything whilst giving nothing away themselves! Chances are though that it’s not deliberate, it’s just an in-built mechanism whereby the cogs of their ultra-astute mind are set into motion as they get straight to the core of a situation or indeed, a person. Scorpios feel deeply and like to keep their emotions hidden, which is why they’re sometimes described as secretive; but get to know them and you’ll be rewarded with their loyalty and honesty. They’re powerful too, they love passionately and fearlessly, they’re attracted to mysteries and metaphysics and can also thrive on dangerous situations, including risky investments or clandestine liaisons.
Tenacious, resilient and clever, career-wise Scorpio can be anything from a doctor to a private investigator, to a hospice worker, a financial or business strategist, an undertaker, grave digger, deep sea diver, midwife or s*x therapist. Scorpio is connected to everything hidden and taboo, they have no problem in digging deep to find clues and psychological explanations.
The birthstone for Scorpio is Turquoise or Topaz; colours are deep reds, maroon and black; animals are scorpions and eagles, snakes and lizards; plants such as aconite, gentian, blackberries, saw palmetto, wormwood and rhododendron.

On the 17th October, the Full Moon at 24°35’ Aries lights up the sky, activating an intense Cardinal Grand Cross with the Sun in Libra, Mars in Cancer, and Pluto in Capricorn.

Under the Cardinal Grand Cross, it may feel like you’re being pulled in different directions, caught between personal needs and collective demands. With so much energy building up, there may be restlessness and impatience. However, this tension also opens up incredible opportunities for growth. Perhaps you could use this time to identify where you’re being stretched too thin, and take intentional action to bring balance to the areas of your life that need it most.

Adding to the intensity, the Full Moon is also conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, urging us to address old emotional wounds and vulnerabilities.
