Located in Maidstone, Kent, Maplewood Court is a purpose-built care home that offers 72 individual, private en-suite rooms and provides the highest quality residential, nursing, memory and respite care in a five-star setting. This brand-new care home provides state-of-the-art facilities including a café bistro, a hair and nail salon, barbers, activities room, private dining room, orangery, a multi-functional communal TV room, assisted bathroom and multiple air-conditioned lounges, some with balconies that overlook the landscaped courtyard garden areas. Our varied choice of lifestyle activities will ensure all residents have the freedom to explore and enjoy a range of hobbies and continue living life to the fullest.

We had a fantastic time celebrating Red Nose Day today! 🔴

Everyone got into the spirit by wearing red, we decorated with beautiful red roses, and even put our knowledge to the test with a fun Red Nose Day quiz — lots of laughs all around! ❤️

What a lovely and unexpected morning we had at The Friars, Aylesford, Kent 😊

We just so happened to bump into the Archbishop of Canterbury during her pilgrimage journey, and before we knew it, we were being interviewed (again… we might have to start asking for royalty soon! 😂) by the local news station.

It was such a special moment, and we’d like to wish her all the very best on the rest of her pilgrimage. And of course, the invitation always stands — you’re more than welcome to pop over to Maplewood for a cuppa anytime ☕️

This is one of those moments that reminds us why we do what we do 💛

Our residents gathered together, singing along with the wonderful and interactive Fred Clark, their voices filling the room with warmth, laughter, and pure joy. When “You Are My Sunshine” began, something truly special happened — smiles grew wider, eyes sparkled, and memories came flooding back for everyone.

Music has a beautiful way of connecting hearts across generations, and today we felt that connection so deeply. Every lyric carried a story, every note held a memory, and every voice mattered.

At Maplewood, we don’t just care for our residents — we share in their lives, their histories, and these precious moments that stay with us forever. We feel incredibly blessed and truly honoured to walk alongside them in their journeys.

The sun is shining and there’s only one thing to do… get outside!! ☀️🌿

We’ve been making the most of the beautiful weather today, spending time outdoors with a minibus trip with our lovely residents and soaking up the sunshine together.

Honor has especially been enjoying the warmth in our little sun trap of a garden – the perfect spot to relax and unwind! 🌸💛

Week 3 of our Wellbeing Wednesday is here, and our funky fruit platter supplied by Q Catering did not disappoint! 🍍🍇🍉

The feedback from staff has been fantastic – with many trying fruits they’ve never had before and loving the experience. Even better, some have said they much prefer this fresh and healthy option over our usual sweet trolley… and we’re inclined to agree!

It’s great to see everyone getting involved, making healthier choices, and enjoying something a little different midweek. Here’s to keeping the good vibes (and fruit!) going! 💚

Walking is one of the simplest and most effective ways to support your mental health. Getting outside, moving your body, breathing fresh air, and spending time with others can help reduce stress, lift your mood, and improve overall wellbeing. Even a short walk can make a big difference to how you feel. 🌿

Our little chicks are growing fast! 🐥

They’re currently staying with our amazing nurse, Sergiu, who’s been taking great care of them. Today they’re outside enjoying the fresh air, sunshine, and a bit more space to explore — and they seem to be loving life! 🌞🌱

It’s wonderful to see them getting stronger and more curious every day. Thank you, Sergiu, for looking after them so well! 💛
