This year's World Environment Day focuses on solutions to reduce plastic pollution

Part of our programme, Polyco Healthline is bringing this issue to the forefront of its business. For us, the challenge of sustainable transformation is balancing the need to keep our business in motion while making changes to reach our sustainability ambitions.

First in the UK market to pack our industrial gloves in paper, it allowed us to reduce the overall weight of packaging within a case of gloves, whilst moving to a more widely recyclable material. By printing our user instructions on the packaging, we were able to further reduce weight, and also remove the need for an extra instruction’s booklet.

Over the course of this year, we will be adding to our range of paper packed products, and expect that once this project is completed we will be removing over 20 TONNES of plastic from our product packaging sold out per year.

Our offices will be closed Monday 8th May to mark the during a three-day bank holiday weekend.

Happy vibes all round this morning!! So great to wake up to the news that our 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐓𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑 won the Commended Award at the Safety Awards in the Product Innovation category – PPE.

Thanks to the amazing work our team put into that project. As always, bringing product innovations to market and leading the way with solutions.
