Are you aware that you have a choice of where to birth your baby?

Different NHS trusts offer different options for women depending on their health and assessments within pregnancy

Options could include

☆ Free standing birthing unit
☆Midwife led birthing unit within a hospital setting
☆Delivery suite/Labour Ward
☆Homebirth

Making the right decision for you, your partner and your baby is such a huge part of preparation for birth. Each and every woman will have a preference and not each option will suit everyone's needs.

It is important to have this chat with your Midwife so you are aware of the options available to you.
