If you are a creator, you will understand the fear of when you package up your hard work and hope for the best in its arrival to its new home! 🙏🏼 so that’s why it has delighted me so much that these Smellies arrived in one piece 🙌🏼 and with that they get their own post 🤩

Hey Smelly Gang 💖🧚‍♀️

This is your reminder that you can get yourself some smellies anytime from 🙌🏼✨ which is the cutest art cafe nestled in Cobden Chambers, where the Bodega outdoor seating is!

It is the sweetest place to escape the hustle and bustle, grab a coffee and cake, and check out an array of art and small business magic 👀🔥

Here you can stock up on your Mix ‘n’ Match tea lights & wax melts, wine top tea lights, and tea cup candles! 🧚‍♀️

I also just wanted to post something to apologies that I have been soooo absent from this instagram this year and to say I haven’t forgotten about my lil smellies and the amazing supportive customers I have 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 I have just very busy living and loving this wonderful world in the flesh and working on myself and my future 💖💖💖💖💖

I hope everyone is looking after and being kind to themselves, because you can’t pour from an empty cup 💖💖💖💖

✨ 2nd Market of the year approaching ✨

So get ya diaries out and pencil this one in 🤪📆

On the 18th of May you can catch me and other Nottingham artists and small businesses sharing our creations in the lovely 💚 2-7:30pm 💚

Our LOVE Market had a little hibernation this winter but is ready to be back at the brewery with like-minded souls, sharing relaxing moments and creating a safe space for all 🧚‍♀️ organised by myself under 🙊✨

And this year we will be having the divine serving up pizzas all day long 🤤🍕

We will also be joined once again by the brilliant who will be repairing and servicing bikes for free between 2-5pm 🚲 so come get your bike summer ready! 🌞

And whilst you’re this side of town you can pop along to the to get your nature fix and feed some adorable animals 🐄🐷🐐

It is a disability friendly venue and has space for parking too in the industrial estate! 🚗

Had my first market of the year on Sunday at the wonderful as a part of their 💚

Was great to be sharing the smellies with people again and seeing familiar faces 🥰

MAKE THEM SMELLIES 🤪🔥

Smelly Session with today 3-8pm ‼️ at 📍

Shoutout to the boys for the lovely pics 📸 was a pleasure having you in the studio! 🥳

Come through today and bring an empty clean candle container to refill! 😎 or bring something fun and thrifted to reimagine into a candle! ✨️ or you could just bring a humble pesto jar 💚

I encourage you to go check out the awesome which is LITERALLY next door to my studio 😳

The Vintage Emporium is a treasure trove of vintage and antique goods, with so many cute tea cups, trinket dishes, and decorative bowls to discover, the candle making possibilities are endless! 🤯💥

It is open until 6pm, so pop by there before swinging through to da stu 👊

Where we will be mixing up pure essential oils and coconut wax 🥰 you will smell us before you see us! 👃

Remember, you can calculate the cost of your candle before if you're curious! 💸

1) Fill your container to the brim with water.
2) Measure the water in millimetres.
3) Take that measurement and multiply it by 0.04 and you will have your cost of the workshop

For example : 100ml x 0.04 = £4
(that is 4 shots of water)

Also! Some candle facts below about this cute spherical number above 🥰

If you have made glass candles before, you will know the troubles of having candles that have "wet spots". They arise when the wax is cooling and there are different temperatures within the candle, usually due to the container being too cold and causing the outside of the candle to cool before the inside does. These "wet spots" are only aesthetic challenges, but when you get it right and don't have them in the finished candle, you have a proper warm feeling inside 🥳

So when I unwrapped this candle (I usually wrap glass candles in small towels to avoid the "wet spots"), and discovered its beautiful appearance, I was so chuffed!! ❤️
