๐Meet Lucy๐
Iโm a local girl at heart. I once thought I wanted the bright lights of a big cityโฆ but after giving it a go, I realised home is where Iโm happiest โ and I truly love our local community.
My career has always centred around people. Iโve worked in local GP surgeries, starting on reception before moving into admin, then progressing to Social Prescribing and becoming a Bereavement Coordinator. I absolutely loved these roles. Supporting people, really listening, and helping them access the right support has always been a passion of mine.
Ready for a new challenge, I made the move into care โ working both out in the community and within the office. I have so much respect for the older generation; I never tire of hearing their stories and learning about their lives. Itโs a privilege to play even a small part in their journey.
My day-to-day role at Wright Care at Home is varied, fast-paced, and often reactive. Alongside handling live situations that may arise โ such as calling doctors, arranging medication deliveries, signposting to other health professionals, and keeping the care team fully informed โ my days also consist of completing assessments, carrying out customer reviews, and leading a team of ambassadors with quality assurance at the forefront of everything we do.
I always hope our team feels supported and knows that I will do my very best to get the help they need, making their day-to-day roles out in the community that little bit easier.
Itโs positive vibes only for me! I simply love being part of a team within our local community โ getting things done the โWrightโ way. ๐
Iโm thoroughly enjoying my role here. We have such a fantastic team, and together we achieve great things for the people we support.
For me, itโs always been about community, connection, teamwork, and care โ and I wouldnโt have it any other way.
You will always spot me wearing a GREAT BOW! and with a great big smile! Im known for my bubbly personality and i love to be creative in any way i can!
