I want you to take an moment and think about the last time your suppressed your emotions.
What I mean is, the last time you felt something and pushed it down inside instead of vocalising it or acknowledging it, or letting it go.
You see, over the past seven years of working with women, I have evidence to suggest that the suppressing of emotions is the number one cause for many symptoms we experience.
This, from a scientific perspective, leans us towards the metaphysical...meaning when our thoughts, feelings or beliefs contribute to our outward health.
And, this is where the work I do comes into it's own.
You see when I first started out I focused on physical movement - trained as a Personal Trainer and then specialised in women's fitness during pre and post natal. Because, after I experienced a breakdown of my own, it was physical movement which helped me shift from that dark place.
I then studied nutrition to help my body perform to a high standard because of the fitness level I wanted and being a mother.
Yet, I still saw struggles within my clients.
That's when I realised, it's is EVERYTHING you consume that creates results.
So, what feeds your thoughts is just as important as what you feed your body.
The emotions you suppress therefore suppress themselves within your body.
And once we start to understand that we can see that we need to address this.
We need support to uncover these emotions and move forward without the residue that they leave behind.
And I believe that peri menopause and menopause are two opportunities for women to dig in a face these thoughts and emotions that hinder them.
Releasing them brings freedom.
Releasing them brings a deeper, truer understanding of self.
Releasing them brings you back to your core. The essence of you that you've forgotten.
