We are delighted to share that our new gift shop is opening tomorrow at the back of our main building 😁

Every penny of profit helps to fund the free counselling sessions we provide. So the gift you buy is also a gift for someone else 🧡

Did you know?
Every single week, Don’t Lose Hope provides almost 200 counselling sessions. Last year we supported 775 people with counselling, and that does not even include all the support groups, the cafe, our Befrienders or the community garden and shed.
And yet, we receive no Government funding.
That’s why we are so grateful for all donations we receive. A HUGE thank you to the Foyle Foundation Grant and the Michael Cornish Core Grants Programme who together have just donated a whopping ✨£10,000 ✨ through Lincolnshire Community Foundation to help us to keep counselling affordable or free to those who need it most. 🙏

Don't Lose Hope mascot Eddie Bear popped in to Ark Kesteven Road Nursery in Stamford to say a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in raising an amazing £2655 for us! Each year we provide over 5000 counselling sessions to young people between the ages of 4 and 18. And we couldn't do it without the incredible support of our local communities 🧡 🧡

Update I've found her 🥰 thank you

I need some social media magic please.

This was our window display in Dec 2020. A lady either messaged (I've spent hours searching messages) or came into the shop.

Her Mum had passed away and she said everytime she drove past our window the polar bear Mum and baby made her think about her Mum, and made her smile.

I'd really like these Polar bears to go to this lady, we just need to find her 🧡

It is with sadness that we share our gift shop will be closing on 20th January. The good news is you will still be able to buy our feel good boxes, candles, hand care sets and bath bombs from the cafe building and on online.

The shop has a half price sale on next week.

We provide support to hundreds of people every week through our services

One word that appears in almost all of our feedback is kind 🧡 We are lucky at Dont Lose Hope kindness is our culture, and I think sometimes we take that for granted and forget people don't always have that in their lives.

So as we step into 2026 from myself and Dom we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our counselling team, staff, trustees, and amazing volunteers for the kindness they show everyday to our visitors 🧡

Don’t Lose Hope

Don’t Lose Hope is a new registered charity in Bourne that offers a means related counselling service for children, young people, their families and other members of the community. This is a free service for families/individuals on low income or state benefits, and affordable to working families.

Don’t Lose Hope is centered around a community cafe which provides support groups, workshops and advice. The cafe is staffed by volunteers and trained professionals. This is a space where anyone can drop in and find someone to talk to, get involved in activities, make friends or just have a slice of cake and a cup of tea. We hope this will bring members of the community together from all age groups.
