We provide support to hundreds of people every week through our services

One word that appears in almost all of our feedback is kind 🧡 We are lucky at Dont Lose Hope kindness is our culture, and I think sometimes we take that for granted and forget people don't always have that in their lives.

So as we step into 2026 from myself and Dom we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our counselling team, staff, trustees, and amazing volunteers for the kindness they show everyday to our visitors 🧡

Today we say goodbye to Becky as our shop manager. After 5 years of volunteering, and 3 years as our gift shop manager she is going on to her next adventure as assistant manager of the new HMV store in Peterborough.

We have opened the Christmas shop early this year so she could design her final window display 🎅

We will all miss her very much 🧡

Don’t Lose Hope

Don’t Lose Hope is a new registered charity in Bourne that offers a means related counselling service for children, young people, their families and other members of the community. This is a free service for families/individuals on low income or state benefits, and affordable to working families.

Don’t Lose Hope is centered around a community cafe which provides support groups, workshops and advice. The cafe is staffed by volunteers and trained professionals. This is a space where anyone can drop in and find someone to talk to, get involved in activities, make friends or just have a slice of cake and a cup of tea. We hope this will bring members of the community together from all age groups.
