Olga Yoga RYT 200 Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher I offer in studio and private yoga classes in Bournemouth and surrounding areas.

My style is based on teachings of Ashtanga yoga. Each class is designed to rejuvenate the body and the mind, create movement, space within the body, and leave each student with the sense of well being and health.

According to the hatha yoga tradition, twists are the most balancing, invigorating, and versatile postures.

Energetically, twists can help to release tension in the body and relax the nervous system whilst also providing an energy boost to combat fatigue and sluggishness.

Practising twisting postures in yoga has a mood-boosting effect. By reducing tension and improving blood flow around the body, twists will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated.

Warrior (Virabhadrasana) poses have got various physical and emotional benefits.

On a physical level, they increase flexibility in the hips, arms, shoulders, and spine; strengthen and tone legs, ankles, and feet; improve stamina.

On an emotional level, these poses bring mental strength, focus, confidence, and courage. Warriors symbolise our own spiritual warrior fighting against our everyday battles - pride, ego, false perception, selfish desires, and a distracted mind.

These powerful postures help one to move from fear and into one's inner power.

Regular practice of warrior poses boost energy, decrease tension in the mind and the body, and create ease and peace within the Self.
