Residents spent time exploring the fascinating displays, admiring the history, and reading the stories that brought the past to life. After our visit, we relaxed in the museum’s beautiful gardens before treating ourselves to tea and cake together β˜•πŸ°πŸŒΏ

We enjoyed a meaningful Day of Reminiscing, as residents, families, and staff came together for afternoon tea to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in World War I and World War II πŸŽ–οΈβ˜•πŸ’œ

With much-loved songs playing softly in the background, the afternoon was filled with shared memories, stories, and reflection. Linda from Activities presented treasured historical items belonging to Wendy, our Senior Nurse, who kindly shared the moving stories of her father and grandfather who fought in the two wars.

A heartfelt afternoon of remembrance, connection, and honouring those who came before us.

We were delighted to welcome Neil and his wonderful dogs from Furbuddies Animal Rescue Centre for another fantastic visit πŸΆπŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ

Residents, visitors, and staff all enjoyed plenty of cuddles with Matty, Spooky, and Kelsey, who were beautifully behaved as they made their way around the home, visiting residents in corridors and bedrooms. Of course, no visit would be complete without a few well-earned treats at the end!

A lovely day filled with smiles, companionship, and wagging tails.
