Part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group. Highcliffe provides quality nursing and dementia care for up to 45 residents at any one time.

Set on the Dorset coast in Highcliffe, a short stroll from the clifftop, Highcliffe Nursing Home offers a restful setting for nursing, dementia and residential care. Large, comfortable communal areas are equipped with plenty of comfortable chairs and large flat screen televisions, and residents have independent access to a secure landscaped garden. To find out information about current availability, a person centred assessment or to simply arrange a visit please do not hesitate to contact the home. We actively encourage those who are considering living at Highcliffe to visit and spend some time with us to gain an accurate perception of the care we offer. You are invited to come for lunch or just for a look round the property. Staff are around at all times of the day and they will be happy to give you a guided tour and answer your questions. If you would like a discussion with the manager, then an appointment can always be made.

Carole from Activities along with Carol and Robin got busy making a nativity scene - lots of sticky tape, wood shavings and miniature nativity figures 🤣

Carol organised the wood shavings and Robin attached the outer box to the inner box.

As a team we created a beautiful nativity scene! ☃️✨

We had a lovely arts and crafts morning making leaf pictures - lots of imagination, glue and glitter with amazing results 😍

A super start to the New Year at Highcliffe Nursing Home 🎶✨

Our move and groove session featured 50s music, pom poms and bright colourful scarves. Carole from Activities was met with plenty of smiles as residents enjoyed the moment, from Barbara wafting a beautiful red scarf, to Jackie enjoying a seated dance, Estelle loving her purple scarf, and Robin joining in with Carole.

Fun was had by all 💜

Getting everyone in the festive mood, we were entertained by the fantastic singer, Retro Rita.

She wore her sparkly red dress and sang all our favourite Christmas songs.

The lounge was packed with everyone enjoying the atmosphere and tea. We had a wonderful afternoon together! ☃️

We enjoyed a relaxing yoga session via Zoom with our yoga teacher Riki, joining us live from Sri Lanka 🧘‍♀️✨

Residents and visitors took part in calm, gentle exercises, with Pene and Carol enjoying the class, while Cynthia, Catrina, Brian, Maria, Estelle and Pene all joined in together.

The afternoon continued with some Good Old Games and tea ☕🎄

We started with a snowman game using foam dice, followed by ring transfer with cardboard tubes and floor noughts and crosses. Carol enjoyed drawing her snowman, Dawn and her mum Catrina threw the dice, and Val, Jon and Cynthia had fun playing noughts and crosses.

We had an amazing Winter Wonderland day - we had a visit from a pop-up shop selling lots of different items! ✨

George and Prancer the reindeers stopped by, Stephen Christopher sang lots of Christmas songs, we had a buffet and a raffle.

The lounge was filled with singing and dancing and a lovely Christmas atmosphere 🎄☃️

We took some home-made mince pies and a Christmas card to the residents at Rothesay Lodge.

We had a surprise visit from Frankie a Cheeky Little Elf!!

He had fun playing in the snow and looking at the Christmas lights. He danced along to the music in the lounge, and put a smile on everyone's face

Carole from Activities brought in some plain wooden tree shaped decorations for a creative afternoon 🎄✨

Estelle enjoyed expressing her creativity, Carol was proud of her finished piece, and Cynthia carefully chose her coloured bingo pens before decorating her wooden lights.

Barbara and her daughter Mandy spent some lovely quality time together, making it a relaxed and enjoyable session for everyone 💜

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of entertainment with Richard playing his keyboard 🎹✨

Song books were filled with Christmas favourites and well loved tunes, with percussion instruments adding to the fun. Tea and cake made it even more special ☕🍰

Jon and his wife Val, along with Jackie, Joan and Beryl, enjoyed the music, while Catrina and her daughter Dawn joined in too.

Richard and Carole from Activities kept everyone entertained, making it a truly lovely afternoon 🎄
