Young Carers Action Day 11th March 2026

Young Carers Action Day is an annual Carers Trust initiative is a vital opportunity to recognise the contribution of young carers and to highlight the importance of ensuring they have equal access to education, wellbeing support and future opportunities.

This year’s theme, Fair Futures, focuses on equity of opportunity – recognising the strengths young carers develop while addressing the barriers they may face, and

It's wonderful to share company and conversation over a meal - our Community Sundays aim to give you just that.

If you'd like to join us, or you know of someone who may like to eat with others, come along to one of our cafes and let’s eat together each Sunday lunchtime 🥣☕

Join us this month - here's when and where:

📆 Sunday 8, 15, 22 February
🕚 11am - 2pm
📍 Redhill Park Cafe and Winton Park Café, Bournemouth
🥣 A hot lunch - usually soup with a bread roll and hot drink
💛 Pay what you can, if you can

You don't need to pay anything at all - you're welcome to enjoy a hot bowl of soup, cup of tea, meet other local people, and stay as long as you’d like.

Food will be served up in a communal style, encouraging company and conversation in a warm and welcoming environment. We look forward to seeing you.

For more information about our cafes, visit: parksfoundation.org.uk/cafes/

We would like to sincerely thank Dorset Community Foundation and the BCP Food & Energy Support Fund for providing funding for this initiative.
