This week we were meant to be at Bournemouth University to make awareness to teens and adults for mental health week. We were going to have workshops to help understand ourselves, how to be kind to ourselves, how to express our emotions especially being able to feel comfortable to talk with implementing strong tools and techniques to help .
Mental health has its benefits, which can be realized by conscious intentions. The same may be said of emotional health, which adds to improve global wellbeing. Human beings experience both positive and negative emotions. Emotional health enables people to experience and express those emotions without becoming stalled within them.
It is vital to empower children with a vocabulary for emotions and the ability to speak about them. To fully process emotions and constructively utilize them is a skill that will help kids for the rest of their lives. Though we cannot live in a constant state of happiness, knowing how to navigate the full range of emotions is essential.
Practicing the ability to put words to the emotions flowing in and out of our lives helps to allow the release of those emotions. There are many ways to express emotions creatively.
Practicing mindfulness is a way to improve emotional health that is offered in a wide variety of activities. The benefits of mindfulness are plentiful and well documented. Conscious improvements in mindfulness practices provide fuel for resilience.
The Science
The benefits of mindfulness are now being back up by a growing body of scientific research, showing its positive effects on mental health and well-being. Practicing mindfulness has been shown to improve attention and reduce stress as well as increase one's ability to regulate emotions and feel compassion and empathy. Mindfulness is also widely considered an effective psychotherapy treatment for children with aggression, ADHD, ASD and problems such as anxiety.
Being able to expressing your emotions is another way to improve emotional health. We encourage at universal mindfulness and help people to do so. We have one-to-one coaching and guide people through ways that suit them to express their emotions on a regular basis and not to manifest. We have some people who come to coaching, some that enjoy journaling, others enjoy chatting with friends or loved ones. If you have any questions we are always here to help.
These are some of the journals we use with teens and adults and children .

Hope to see you all in the near future.
Sending big hugs and love from us all 🤗🤗🤗🧡💙💚💛💜❤️
