✴️CHIROPRACTOR DROVE OVER 3 HOURS FROM THE MIDLANDS TO OBSERVE✴️ Dr West Santisook contacted me, as he would like to observe for the weekend.

➡️We have not met before, but he was willing to drive over 3 hours from Solihull, near Birmingham, in the midlands to observe, as he wanted to learn more about Gonstead, and its application.

➡️He has been trying to teach himself for the past year, but has hit a wall with his learning.

➡️We went through the ✅listings, how to find the listings through ✅static and ✅motion palpation. Moreover, ✅cervical chair, ✅side posture, ✅thoracic hand and body positioning, with the ✅line of correction on those adjustments.

➡️It is always easier and better to have someone show you the adjustments, talk through, and demonstrate the technique, rather than reading from a book, or teaching one’s self.

➡️It was a pleasure meeting Dr West, and welcome back anytime.

✴️39 WEEK PREGNANT LADY WITH LOW BACK PAIN, SWOLLEN ANKLES AND FEET, HELPED!✴️ This particular patient presented with low back pain, swollen ankles and feet due to her pregnancy.

➡️Her low back pain was from an ✅ASIn left ilium and ✅S3 P-R. Other adjustments: ✅T8 PRS, ✅C7 PL. These were all performed on the knee chest table.

➡️In addition, the swelling were from ✅AS talus lateral tilt B, and ✅Superior 2nd cuneiform B. Moreover, ✅Soft tissue work to finish off the treatment.

✴️NEW CHIROPRACTIC TABLE✴️ It was time that I upgraded my chiropractic table, as the old one was too basic, and it also needs reupholstering.

➡️In my opinion, having a nice table is essential, not just for patient’s comfort, but it provides the chiropractor with more tools, and options with their treatments.

✴️GANGLION CYST, HELPED WITH ONE TREATMENT!✴️ This particular patient presented with numerous injuries, but noticeably a big ganglion cyst on his right wrist.

➡️He reported that he had it for a few years. Furthermore, he saw his GP multiple times, but was told to live with it, as it wasn’t painful.

➡️Moreover, when the cyst gets too big, he would drain out the fluid himself. This would help for a short term, and then the cyst comes back.

➡️Following the treatment, the size of the ganglion cyst reduced significantly.

➡️In addition, the tone and colour of the skin also changed.

✴️FULL CIRCLE✴️ 6 years ago, Niall Stanley asked me for a character reference, as he was applying for the chiropractic program.

➡️He came to observe a few times, and was very keen on learning about the profession.

➡️Now 6 years later, he’s graduated as chiropractor, and I am very happy for him.

➡️In addition, I am pleased that he has shown interest in the Gonstead system.

➡️I went through any questions that he had, whether it’s Gonstead, or chiropractic in general. He was keen to absorb anything and everything.

✴️POWERLIFTER WITH LIMITED NECK MOVEMENT, HELPED!✴️ Powerlifter Phil Lovell, presented with limited range of motion in his neck, following an accident while performing heavy squats.

➡️He reported no headaches, but had difficultly extending and rotate his neck.

➡️Furthermore, he is getting ready for a competition in Manchester this Tuesday, so he’s in for maintenance as well.

➡️The cause for the loss of neck extension was ✅T3 PLS, coupled with ✅C1 ASLA fixation, hence the loss of rotation.

➡️Other adjustments: ✅T9 PRS, ✅ASIn Left ilium, ✅L4 PL, ✅Upper and ✅Lower extremities, with ✅Soft tissue work to finish off the treatment.

✴️I DON’T “CRACK” ANYTHING✴️ Many chiropractors would often associate the sound of a joint cavitation, with a “fix” and the louder the sound, the more cracks, the better.

➡️For some, it’s all about the cracks! They crack your bones, your joints, twisting, and turning, with a microphone next to you, to pick up even a sound of a pin drop.

➡️However, ❌I don’t crack anything. Patients are not coming to me for just the adjustments, they’re coming to me to know where the problem is, what the problem is, and how to fix it.

✅My goal is to precisely locate the exact sight of injury or irritation, help patients to learn the knowledge and skills to allow them to move, function pain free without restrictions, and to live their lives independently without having to rely on constant chiropractic treatments, or medication.

✅What I do is correct imbalances before symptoms or injuries can develop, focusing on prevention is absolutely crucial for good health and well-being.

✅Is it important to make a distinction between treatments that like a band aid, which temporarily mask the symptoms, and those are actually correct the pathology that causes the pain in the first place.

✅It’s about genuinely solving the problem, and actually helping the patients. So that myself and the patient are not wasting time and money.

✴️OBSERVATION✴️ Newly graduated chiropractor, Lauren East asked if she could come to observe, especially she wants to know more about the Gonstead system.

➡️She had a lot of questions, and I was happy to answer them all as honestly as possible.

➡️We mainly discussed the differences between Gonstead and Diversified. Not just the adjustments, but the assessments, the listings, and their applications.

➡️Moreover, she had a lot of questions regarding extremities adjusting, as she was not very familiar them.

➡️Hopefully this will inspire her to practice more Gonstead, and attend more Gonstead seminars/workshops in the future.

✴️WHY I WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK✴️ “A day not working, is a missed opportunity to get better”.

➡️My goal is to be a good chiropractor, meaning consistently achieving good results, so that patients don’t need a lot of treatments.

➡️However, I need more time to further develop my skills, knowledge, and overall clinical thinking. There’s still a lot more to learn, and a lot more to do!

➡️Hence, I believe that to be good at something, you must do it every day.

➡️Furthermore, I love what I do, and what I do is actually help people. For me, being a chiropractor is all about helping others.

➡️My focus are the patients, not the number or volume of patients for monetary gain. ✅I am motivated by results, ❌not money.

➡️When patients come in with pain and they walk out feeling like a new person, that’s why I do what I do. That’s what motivates me!

✴️AFC TOTTON STRIKER TONY LEE, WITH LOW BACK, KNEE, AND FOOT PAIN, HELPED!✴️ AFC Totton will play in the 6th tier of the English football next season, as they were promoted to the National League South via play offs.

➡️Their striker, Tony Lee presented with tightness in the low back, right knee, and foot pain.

➡️The low back tightness was caused by ✅ASIn left ilium, ✅S4 PL. Furthermore, the right knee pain was from a ✅PEX tibia.

➡️In addition, foot pain was from ✅AS talus lateral tilt, and ✅PS Calcaneus medial tilt, with a touch up on the transverse arch at ✅2nd cuneiform.

➡️Other adjustments: ✅T9 PRS, ✅T4 PR, ✅C6 PRS, ✅C1 ASL, ✅Upper, and ✅Lower extremities, with ✅Soft tissue work to finish off the treatment.
