The Mental health Support Team in schools(MHSTs) are running a webinar for Parent Carers, on Understanding Autism.

This free, online session is aimed at parents and carers who are supporting autistic children and young people, or those who may be autistic (no diagnosis needed). The webinar will explore sensory needs, communication differences, emotional regulation, anxiety, and wellbeing, and will include practical strategies to support children and young people at home.

Parent Carers Together Padlets – These online Padlets are a simple way to share your thoughts. Your input will directly help Parent Carers Together shape their response to the consultation.

Autism Unlimited have a free Early Years Autism information session they are running locally for parents.
This session is designed for parents of children under the age of 5 who they think or know may be autistic. Many parents at this stage are feeling overwhelmed or isolated, and this workshop offers you a chance to access clear information, practical strategies, and peer support in a safe and welcoming space.
About the workshop:
• Completely FREE for parents
• For parents of children under 5
• Led by a passionate team of neurodivergent-informed parents with lived experience
• Focuses on sharing strategies, ideas, and support
• A chance for parents to connect with others who truly understand
