That feeling when you are unwell and feel like you SHOULD be doing more but can't due to tiredness, lack of motivation or just feeling unwell and not able to do what you normally might is hard to accept sometimes.

Cancer is something that really does slow you down, but you have to take it at your speed and based on how you feel that day.

Doing something no matter how small is ok. It's not easy if you're like me and someone that's usually very productive and on the go, working hard.

I do believe this illness has come to show me I need to rest and look after myself, I'm really doing my best to honour that even if it does go against my instincts.

We can lose ourselves in many ways and it's not always consciously that it happens. It usually happens over time.

The important thing is that we notice it and decide if it's a part of us we want to reconnect with or not.

Reflect on any aspects of yourself you may have lost, no need to reply just sit with it.

I'm slowly healing but I've been struggling with my emotions and also dealing with my fibromyalgia pain. It's making this process alot harder.

Post surgery day. It's been so quick that everything happened and I'm still trying to process having breast cancer.

For those going through a cancer journey there is a lot of help out there. it obviously varies where you live which is a shame I think, it shouldn't be a postcode lottery.

I'm grateful to Wessex Cancer Care for the support they offer. And to all the charities and organisations and people that support those struggling with cancer.

I'm recovering at home and will be visiting Wessex Cancer Care and it's also available to my family as they're affected too.

Pre op was painless, Had bloods and all the checks. The time is getting closer for surgery and I was feeling ok at this point.

The quickness is something alot of patients talk about. It's hard to process and accept what's happening when it happens so fast.

It's good it's happening fast to get it out but on the reverse it's a lot to digest. A part of my body is being cut off!

21/12/2025

Pre-op. Nothing really sinking in. I have breast cancer and I'm ticking things off the list, but I can't believe what's happening. It's very surreal.

20/12/2025

I'm back at home now but I'll release my updates which are delayed to give myself time to process what's happening in my body and with my emotions.

I hope it helps someone in a similar situation.

Getting this news was not easy of course it wasn't, but I know I'll get through it but my head felt so heavy at the time of this video. There is so much information to take in.

At the time of writing my op is in 4 days and I'm scared.

I'll try and keep this updated the best I can.

Get your crystals out and prepare your moon water people.

I saw the full moon after coming out of football on Tues evening, it was amazing.

Tonight it's at its peak and the last one of 2025.

Do your ritual of letting go of what no longer serves you. Burn it. Do whatever feels right.

This is #9 of the cycle so next year we're into a new cycle with new beginnings.
