This week we celebrated International Nurses Day 💙

At Southbourne Beach Care Home, we are incredibly lucky to have such wonderful community nurses supporting our team each and every day. Their compassion, dedication, and hard work make such a difference to our residents and staff, and we cannot thank them enough for everything they do.
As a small gesture of appreciation, we wanted to recognise and celebrate the amazing care and support they provide to everyone.

International Dance Day is celebrated on 29th April. Residents at Southbourne Beach Care Home - Avery Collection and children from Tops Day Nurseries: Pokesdown got together and had the pleasure of welcoming Pavilion Dance South West into our home for a dance workshop, everyone worked together and had a lovely morning of dance and movement.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Maureen! 🎉
Today we celebrated our lovely Maureen’s birthday in true Southbourne Beach style 💛 This morning she enjoyed a wonderful trip to Tuckton Tea Gardens with friends, followed by a lovely afternoon celebration in the bistro with delicious lemon drizzle cake 🎂
The celebrations are still going, with Maureen now relaxing and enjoying her favourite game of Rummikub. A truly special day for a very special lady 😊🎈
