A beautiful spirit connection with this gentleman for a lovely client today 💫 A grandfather from 4 generations back. He was a farmer from Tuscany who worked hard and loved his time with family 🧡

I’m fascinated with history and genealogy and people in general, and am feeling so grateful that I had this connection, which allowed me to have a glimpse into the past ✨

I never know who will step forward and connect when I have clients book in, it’s always a pleasant and interesting surprise 💛

A couple of moments of peace and awe today ☀️

The first seeing a family of swans swimming along in the beautiful sunshine 🦢

The second stumbling across a little nest, and watching a dedicated mumma bird going to and fro with food for her little ones 🩷

Their home was built in a play park in a busy area, but they seemed happy enough and the kids loved watching the little baby birds sticking their heads out for their dinner!

These are a handful of the beautiful spirit guides I’ve had the privilege of connecting with 💫

I love doing spirit guide portraits for people. I think they are my favourite pieces of art to create.
The process of connecting with them, and feeling their energy and hearing their stories is amazing. I love getting to know them, their big personalities and the messages and guidance they bring ✨

Each guide that comes through is so different, and they play such a vital role in supporting us in our existence here on Earth 💜

The more I work with them, the more I learn to respect them, to have gratitude for them, and to understand who they are, why they are here and the important part they play in guiding and teaching us.

I feel so honoured to know my guides and to help others to make a deeper connection with theirs 💜

Following on from my last post, I just had to share this 🐝 🌸

I was feeling really tired yesterday and took a half hour out to sit and read in the conservatory. It’s not something I normally do in the day, and I felt so guilty about not doing and resting.

I think a lot of us feel like that. We are taught to do and be busy, especially parents. When actually those moments of silence and rest are what we need the most. But something inside of us pushes us on, often to the point of exhaustion or burnout.

I found it hard to relax, my brain was telling me a list of things I should be doing instead of just sitting there! So I took a moment to take a few deep breaths and when I opened my eyes a beautiful bumblebee had flown in and landed on one of the houseplants.

I watched it carefully to hear its message, and saw that it was taking some time out for a bit of self care. Carefully cleaning and grooming itself to remove bits of pollen etc. After it was done it flew away and carried on, and I said thank you, as I realised that even the busiest of little bees allows themselves a moment for some TLC and self care 🐝

They take that time, so that they can rest and be the best pollinators they can be ⭐️ Without rest they can’t do the best job. So next time you feel guilty about taking a moment for yourself, try to think of this little bee, one of the busiest and most efficient workers on Earth.

Nature is great at following intuition and doing what it needs to do. We should as well. Listen to your body and what it needs and push past those niggling thoughts about emptying the dishwasher, hoovering, sending an email, making a call etc. even just 5 minutes away from everything (including your phone!) can make a huge difference and give you that little boost to carry on.

Ah June, you have been a whirlwind of a month, filled with new life, oodles of strength, lots of love, healing, connection and moments of stillness and reflection ✨

💫You’ve shown me the power everyone can have when they come together and set love filled intentions.

💫You’ve shown me the beauty that can be found in nature and the constant signs and messages that we are never alone.

💫 And, you’ve shown me how we can’t control the outcome, but have to trust and have faith in the process. Relaxing into it, accepting and knowing that’s all we can do 💜

Lots of lessons, and lots of gratitude and probably a few more grey hairs, but all worth it 🧡
