Use a cinnamon stick hung out of way of cats instead!
Keep it Away: Avoid using cinnamon, especially essential oils or diffusers, around cats!!

Or hoover up before cats can get to it.

Ready for January 1st 2026

Stand at your doorway and gently blow a pinch of cinnamon across the threshold into your home, holding in mind the energy you wish to welcome.

Then repeat slowly...
By hearth and hinge,
by door and beam,
I speak these words,
I weave this seam.
Health and plenty cross this line,
protected now by will of mine.

I’ll be Selling Crystals and spiritual items, offering Henna, selling Fabulous Fairy/Festival dresses and launching the sale of my Amazing Quality Cloaks, just in time for Spooky Season. (although Cloaks are for life, not just Halloween! 🧙
The Factory Space host a Monthly Market every 1st Sunday of the Month.

Hi All, I’ve realised it’s been a long time since I’ve introduced myself! The Face Behind Jo's Healing Cabin 😁

🙏I’m an Holistic Therapist, Working from a purpose built Cabin at my home since 2012, offering Reiki Healing, Reiki Training, Crystal Healing, Pyramid Healing, Card Readings, Sound Baths, Meditation Groups and I’m a Practitioner in Okinawan Bodywork Dynamics. 🙏

I’m Jo, I have been a Professional Face Painter since 2012 Jo's Face Painting. I do Face Painting, Henna By Jo, Festival Glitter and Tattoos, Hairwraps. 🎨🖌️

🌞Aside from my Businesses, I am Group Leader at Prama running Memory Lane groups for people with Dementia. 🌞

🎶I also run and manage a SKA/Reggae Singing Group (not Choir 😉) called The SKA contingent . We are always looking for new members so if this appeals to you, please contact me. 🎶

As well as being married to Ian with two teenagers 19 and 16, and a carer for my father.

When I'm not doing any of the above I try to find time to meet up with other small business owners on walks, doodling over breakfast and kayaking. I also enjoy jigsaw puzzles, word games, Macrame, card games, reading (real books and kindle - I usually have a few books on the go) Forest, Wood and River walks, I’m also a licensed Archery Instructor.
🧁I can always be tempted by Cake too 😜🧁Halloween is my favourite time of year.
