As a chiropractor i love a sit/stand desk as it means your changing position throughout the day and using different muscles putting less stress through your spine.

However jist like sitting can cause issues in our neck and lower back, standing desk can cause issues in our hips if we stand putting pressure through one side.

Check out this video for what to do when your standing at your desk to reduce stress on your hips.

Your desk setup could be the reason your pain keeps coming back.
We see it all the time…

Hours at a desk with poor posture, screens too low, chairs not supporting you properly — and your body pays the price.

Neck pain.
Back pain.
Headaches.
Tight shoulders.

The problem is, most people just push through it… until it gets worse.
Small changes to your desk setup can make a huge difference to how your body feels every single day.

And when you combine that with the right care, everything starts to shift.
If you’re sitting for most of the day and your body is starting to feel it, don’t ignore the signs.

“I wish I’d done this sooner” — the most overheard saying at Pure Chiropractic.

Many people come to a chiropractor as a last resort. They’ve seen multiple other therapists with no luck. They’re unsure about chiropractic because they don’t fully understand it, and then finally a friend recommends it and they decide to give it a try.

Finally, they’re out of pain. They’re moving better than they could have imagined. They’re back doing things they thought they would never be able to do again. Their nervous system is more regulated, and their body is functioning better — with improved sleep, concentration, and digestion.

After struggling for years, they wish they had done it sooner.

If you need help, let this be your sign not to wait any longer. Let’s see how we can help.

Everyone does a lot of sitting all day

Sitting to eat breakfast

Sitting to drive to work

Sittina t qork on a computer or driving long distances

Sitting for lunch

Sitting to drive home

Sitting for dinner

And then sitting watching TV

Sitting isn't going anywhere so learn how to sit properly in a chair to reduce the stress on your lower back.

And yes she did say it without any context and yes other clients could hear !

To find out what this was all about make sure you're on our mailing list as i'll be talking all about this next month and you'll get to find out why our client slept in 10 different beds but also what you can do to reduce the stress on your spine.

ARM PAIN - this could be a shooting pain, pins and needles or numbness and its one of the most frustrating pains as many peoplr who suffer with it jist can't find a comfortable position to get their body in the relieve the pain.

As Chiropractors this is something we see everyday in our clinic as we're experts in the nervous system and spinal health.

There are a few reasons why you might have arm pain but the most common cause we see in our clinic is Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, where rhe scalene muscle in your neck has become tight due to a forward head posture, and is now compressing the meeves coming out of the neck before they go down the arm.

A lot of people report this being worse at night as the nerve gets compressed more.

If you've been struggling with this and you would like some help then get in touch and we look forward to helping you soon.
