🌍 A Mother & Daughter Mission to Help Build a School in Uganda (2028)
Twenty years ago, I travelled to West Africa to volunteer, and it became one of the most life-changing experiences of my life. It opened my eyes to the world in a completely new way, deepened my appreciation for different cultures, and showed me the true impact of connection, kindness, and community.
Now, I have the opportunity to return to Africa… and this time, I’m bringing my daughter Scarlett with me.
Scarlett is 15 and has already explored around 15 countries. She loves camping, adventure, and discovering new cultures, and when this opportunity came up, she didn’t hesitate. She’s excited, motivated, and ready to be part of something that truly makes a difference.
In 2028, we’ll be travelling together to Uganda with Nile 2010, a charity dedicated to improving access to education and opportunities for young people. As part of this journey, we’ll be helping to build and support the development of a school, creating a space for learning, growth, and future possibilities for the local community.
This is a chance to give back, to learn, to connect, and to be part of something much bigger than ourselves.
To take part, we need to raise £4,444 (£2,222 each).
We’re committed to putting in the work, through fundraising events, challenges, and community support, and we’d love for you to be part of this journey with us.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us get there and contribute to something truly meaningful.
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much 💛
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and belief in what we’re doing.
