Across our Abbeyfield Wessex houses, we love Fish Friday — and today did not disappoint!
Freshly battered fish, homemade chips, proper mushy peas and our own homemade tartare sauce… absolutely delicious. 😍

💷 £14.49 per hour | 32 hours per week (9am–6pm)
📅 4 days per week on a 2-week rolling rota (includes alternate weekends)
Abbeyfield Wessex is looking for a motivated, organised and caring individual who shares our commitment to enhancing the lives of older people.
Key Responsibilities:
👩‍🍳 Prepare and cook high-quality meals using fresh ingredients
⚠️ Follow all allergen, dietary and food safety legislation
🧼 Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
📝 Complete temperature records, risk assessments and required documentation
💛 Support residents and respond to queries in the absence of House Staff

Friday night’s Pop-Up Restaurant at Abbeyfield Wessex, Clandon House was a real success.🍽️

Our guests enjoyed an array of freshly prepared, homemade dishes that looked every bit as good as they tasted.😋

🌸 Fresh Flower Friday at Abbeyfield Wessex – Macpherson House, Weymouth! 🌸

We’ve had such an enjoyable morning getting creative with some beautiful blooms! 🌼💐

Our residents spent time arranging fresh flowers, and the results are blooming gorgeous — adding a splash of colour and joy throughout our home. 🌷🌺
