As a birth worker I support parents through pregnancy, birth and beyond in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, New Forest and surrounding areas. As a body worker I offer treatments in Womb & Abdominal Massage, Myofascial Release, Scar Tissue Work, Postnatal Recovery Massage and Biomechanics for Birth. Other than the Biomechanics for Birth, these treatments are suitable for any stage of life and any age.

My 5 ⭐  rated birth preparation workshops blend elements of Spinning Babies, Biomechanics for Birth, Birthing From Within and Active Birthing, to provide you and your partner with many tools and practices so you can work together to create a positive birth experience.

They are interactive and practical sessions to help you and your partner feel confident, informed, prepared and excited for birth

Mamas will discover how to deepen into their power, what they need from their partners and grow in confidence in their bodies.

Partners will learn how to support the birthing mama, what may help or hinder the birth journey and build a toolkit of techniques and comfort measures.

I'm looking at starting some new pregnancy yoga classes to accommodate expectant mamas who would prefer a daytime class or a later evening class.

I can offer up to 2 of the times below alongside the pregnancy yoga classes on my current schedule but not all 3! Please let me know in the comments or send me a message if you're interested in any of the following -

* Mondays 7.30 to 8.45pm in Mudeford
* Tuesdays 11am to 12.15 in Southbourne
* Tuesdays 7.45 to 9pm in Ringwood

We had Toria from  join us at this week's postnatal yoga & baby massage class in Ringwood and she captured some beautiful images of mums and babies enjoying a gentle paced class of bonding, connection and fun together while the mamas had the chance to stretch, move and strengthen.

🌹 Womb & abdominal massage to help with fertility, difficult periods (heavy, painful, irregular), menopause, abdominal and womb health, scars, fibroids, prolapse, endometriosis.
🌹Womb & abdominal massage for pregnancy and postpartum to help with baby positioning, balance, aches, comfort, backache, pelvic discomfort
🌹Closing The Bones (Postpartum ceremony - womb & abdominal massage, being rocked and wrapped in rebozos, option to include pelvic steaming. Wonderful to receive anytime postnatally whether 6 weeks or 6+ years later)
🌹Scar Tissue Work to relieve tightness, pain, numbness, restore function and helps reduce post caesarean 'pooch' (can be combined with womb and abdominal massage)
🌹Myofascial Release for the pelvis in pregnancy - gentle hands on treatment to relieve pain and discomfort, balance and make space for baby to get in an optimal position for birth (can be included in other pregnancy treatments)

📷 Looking through my camera roll makes me realise I really don't have many photos that represent my work but I do have a lot of my dog!

I'm not one for making a big thing about the new year, seasonally we're still in deep hibernation mode and if it were possible I wouldn't emerge until the end of January. However I have lots of wonderful clients (new and returning) booked in for classes and treatments from next Monday 5th January 2026 and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone so I'm slowly transitioning back to the world.

❤️ Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has come to me in 2025 for classes and treatments, I appreciate every booking and it's true that they make me do a little happy dance but no, I will not be capturing that on camera or posting it on here! 🤭

🤰🏽 Dreamy pregnancy yoga classes that are really embracing the peaceful and quiet pull of the season. They are a wonderful way to relax, soften, stretch, move, practice positions for birth, breathe, bond with your unborn baby and make new friends. 

Suitable from 14 weeks to full term, no yoga experience needed. Just the Ringwood sessions are on in December. Mudeford and Charminster resume first week of January.

Our Story

Hi, I’m Rosa Davies and I’ve been running my classes and working as a Doula for 13 years. I have loved working with so many pregnant women and their partners over the years and supporting new mums. I don’t know the exact number of parents who I’ve supported but well over 1000!

My classes encourage you to trust yourself and feel powerful in your body, help you bond with your baby, take time out for yourself and enjoy some nurturing during pregnancy and postnatally. I also offer treatment to support you through pregnancy, the postnatal period and beyond.

In recent years I have been drawn to working with women of all ages and helping them in their quest for health and healing. This led me to train in Mizan Therapy and Myofascial Release. I feel privileged and honoured to be doing this work.
