🎃 Halloween Crafts 💀

I always love decorating my home for the occasion & try to reuse decorations for years to come, the mission is to have a full haunted house by my old age 😅

This year I’ve added some natural creations to the collection not excuted particularly well 😂 but you get the idea & had great fun making them ♥️

A leaf garland 🍁- made with leaves from outside coated in a PVA & water mix left to dry & then hung on strings

Pumpkin Acorns 🪾 - as we’ve had a mast year there’s an abundance of the things, so I’ve taken a handful painted orange, added some glitter & spooky pumpkin faces. (If I did this again, I’d use ones with caps as the stems)

Ghostly Oak Leaves 🍂 - I tried oak leaves but lots of different kinds could be used in different ways, like Sycamore bats! I painted them white & added little ghost faces, I think this was my fav!

Found myself a little birch polypore, which I’ve sliced, dried & blitzed into a fine powder! Just a small amount to start this years batch! I can sprinkle this into anything really 🍄

With wide range of health benefits it was even discovered on Ötzi the Iceman over 5000 years ago

🍄‍🟫Support digestion: it helps calm the gut and can reduce parasites and harmful bacteria
🍄Aids you immune system: encouraging the body to respond more effectively to illness

I’m also starting my intensive driving course this week, once done I’ll be able to get myself further afield 🤞

Finally filtered my Greater Plantain oil 🌿 after 2 years, basically liquid magic now 🥰

One of the miracle plants we have in abundance & considered a w**d. Historically it’s been used to soothe bits, stings & scrapes! & it’s already working its magic for my mosquito bites 🦟
