🎉 Official Opening of A1 Care Lisburn 🎉

It was a day about people, connection, and shared commitment, and we are proud to be bringing A1 Care’s in the heart of Lisburn, supporting people and families to remain safe, independent and well in their own homes 🏡🤍

✂️🎀 We were honoured to welcome Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly MLA , who officially opened our Lisburn branch. We were so grateful for her time, her kind words, and her recognition of the vital role home care providers and care professionals play across Northern Ireland.

💬 We also valued the opportunity to speak with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Social Care Council, including Ms Mairead Harkin and Mr Declan McAllister, as part of wider conversations about the opportunities and challenges surrounding the use of technology in social care. These discussions reinforced the importance of exploring innovation thoughtfully, supporting the workforce and enhancing care delivery, while always keeping people and relationships at the heart of what we do.

🎤 A sincere thank you to our guest speakers — Tanya Eccles and Vicky Smiton — for their insightful and thoughtful contributions, bringing genuine perspective, experience and reflection to the day.

👏 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — especially our Registered Manager Sorina Puscas, and Deputy Care Manager Tiffany McClure for leading such a strong and memorable local launch.

💚 We’re Back at Bow Street Mall Today – Here for a Wee Chat

We’re here again today at Bow Street Mall in Lisburn, not just to hand out leaflets, but to meet you, to listen, and to have a wee chat if you need one.

Over the past few weeks, people have stopped by our stand and shared real life stories with us: about caring for a parent, a partner, a neighbour… about the long days and the sleepless nights… and the worry that comes when someone you love is nearing the later stages of life.

End of life isn’t just about those final days.
It’s about months - sometimes years - of holding everything together🩷..It can take a toll on the whole family, not just on the person who is unwell. And sometimes, even the strongest carers need someone beside them, just to say:

“You’re not on your own. We’ll walk this part with you.”

That’s why we’re here today.
Not just as a care provider, but as neighbours ready to support you, your family, and the people you love.
