For many of us who are late-diagnosed, the real work starts after the diagnosis.

It’s the unraveling. The questions. The grief. The anger. The curiosity. The slow rebuilding of who we actually are — beneath the mask.

That’s why I created Unmasked™ — a powerful, guided group coaching journey to help late-diagnosed neurodivergent adults (or those exploring their identity) find clarity, connection, and confidence.

💡 And now, for the first time, I'm offering two separate group programmes — one for women and AFAB individuals, and one for men and AMAB individuals — so we can honour the very real differences in experience, identity, and healing.

🎙 🧠 NEW EPISODE ALERT: “We’re all a bit ADHD or autistic sometimes.” 🎧 LINKS IN STORY & BIO

You’ve heard it. Maybe you’ve even said it.
But here’s the truth — these phrases are not harmless.
In my latest Navigating Our Neuroverse podcast episode, I unpack:
✅ Why these statements erase real challenges ND people face
✅ What the science actually says about ADHD and autism
✅ How workplaces accidentally discriminate — and what to do instead
✅ Practical tools to build truly neuroinclusive communication
💡 I also introduce the Neurodiversity Compass — my signature workplace audit to help organisations move from guessing to growing.

📢 New Episode Alert! 🧠 “Neurodiversity” is trending — but are we really using the words with care? ✅ LINK IN BIO & STORIES TO LISTEN ✅

In this week’s episode of Navigating Our Neuroverse, I’m pulling back the curtain on the buzzwords we hear all the time in the neurodiversity space.

⚡ “Masking”

⚡ “Executive Dysfunction”

⚡ “Stimming”

⚡ “RSD”

⚡”Hyperfocus”

⚡ “Thinking differently” (but… at what cost?)

Too often, these terms get watered down or misused — and that can do more harm than good. This episode is a call to slow down, learn deeply, and honour the real lived experiences behind the words.

🎙️ I share:

✔️ Evidence-based definitions

✔️ Tools to use these terms responsibly

✔️ Personal reflections from the ND coaching world and lived experience

💬 Let’s move beyond surface-level awareness.

Let’s make language mean something again.

Seriously…60 Never Did Look SO Good! 🥰🔥🥳 Happy Happy Happy Birthday to this wonderful lady I get to call my Mum! 💕

Happy 60th to the woman who has been my constant in every storm, my biggest comfort, and the quiet strength behind so many of my steps.

From the outside, people might see you as kind, fun, strong, and beautiful (because you are all those things). But what I see and feel is so much more. I see the way you’ve stood by me through every twist and turn of my slightly unconventional life. I see the way you’ve never judged, never wavered, and always welcomed me with open arms, even when I always gatecrash your romantic holidays 😅.

You’ve supported me through the tough times, the confusing times, the “what was I thinking?” times and never once made me feel anything but loved. Your words have lifted me when I’ve been low, your hugs have healed things I couldn’t explain, and your quiet belief in me has given me the courage to keep going when it felt hard.

I don’t know how I got lucky enough to have a mum like you, but I’ll spend my whole life being grateful.

You are, and always will be, my greatest comfort, my truest home, and my heart’s favourite person.

I love you beyond measure.
Your baby girl (and let’s not pretend—your favourite)
🤪🤣

The Intention-Action Gap - Why can’t I just DO the thing?

Ever said, ‘I want to do it… I just can’t seem to start’? That’s not laziness. That’s called the intention-action gap — and it’s so common in ADHD and neurodivergence.

It’s that frustrating gap between knowing what you want to do… and actually doing it.

Our brains aren’t broken — but we do struggle with executive functioning. That’s the mental system that helps with planning, prioritising, and starting tasks.

You can want to do something and still feel totally stuck. And that’s valid. It’s neurological, not a moral failing.

If you’ve ever felt paralysed even with the best intentions — drop a comment. You are not alone.
in part 2 tomorrow — we’ll break down what’s actually going on in the brain.

✅ If you have any specific questions about this topic whether for yourself or a loved one please DM me so that I can answer them for you this week as I dive into this area.

💙 Tomorrow is - a day when conversations about autism take centre stage. But for autistic individuals and their families, autism isn’t something to “raise awareness” about once a year. It’s a lived experience every single day.

👦🏼 For the autistic child who is constantly misunderstood at school (my nephews, friends children and clients)
👩🏽‍💻 For the autistic professional navigating sensory overload in an open-plan office (my friends and clients)
🙏🏽 For the late-diagnosed adult finally making sense of a lifetime of challenges—and strengths (me, many family members, friends and clients)

Too often, the focus is on awareness rather than acceptance and action. True progress happens when workplaces, schools, and society don’t just acknowledge autism for a day but work to create environments where autistic individuals can thrive every day.

💡 What does real support look like?
- It looks like workplaces that embrace different communication styles and offer adjustments without hesitation.
- It looks like schools that see a struggling child and ask, "What do they need?" instead of, "Why aren’t they behaving?"
- It looks like a world that stops expecting autistic individuals to mask their differences and instead adapts to be more inclusive.

So, as World Autism Awareness Day comes around, I challenge you to go beyond awareness. How can you make meaningful change - not just on one day, but every day?

Here is how.....

Let’s make every day an autism day 🌍💙

💙On 2nd April it’s world autism awareness day so this week I’m doing a deep dive into autism

Im going to start this weeks topic off with some unknowns about autism:

1. Autism is a Spectrum
Autism presents differently in each individual, ranging from requiring significant support to living independently. It’s important to recognise the diverse needs within the autism community.

2. Sensory Sensitivities
Many autistic individuals have heightened sensitivities to sensory input, like lights or sounds, leading to overwhelm or anxiety. Around 90% of autistic people experience sensory processing challenges.

3. Communication Support
Some autistic individuals are non-speaking or struggle with communication.

4. Mental Health
Autistic people are more likely to experience mental health issues like anxiety and depression, with around 40% having co-occurring conditions.

5. Gender Differences
Autism often presents differently in females, leading to underdiagnosis or misdiagnosis. Girls may mask symptoms, resulting in later diagnoses and more severe mental health challenges.

6. Strengths of Autistic Individuals
Autistic individuals often have strengths like attention to detail, memory, and focus on special interests, excelling in fields like technology and art.

7. Early Intervention
Early intervention improves outcomes in communication and social skills.

8. Autism and Employment
Autistic adults often face challenges in the workplace but can thrive with support.
