Charminster Osteopathy - Bournemouth based Osteopath

We treat many issues such as - Back Pain, Sports Injuries, Muscle Pain, Skeletal Pain, Neck Pain and Joint Pain to name just a few.

Andrew Smythe holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Osteopathy from Cardiff University. He runs his own Osteopath practice in Charminster and is also the resident Osteopath at the Broadstone Clinic. He is a traditional or structurally based Osteopath using mainly a combination of soft tissue techniques to relax or stretch muscles, alongside gentle manipulations to mobilize restricted joints. Although trained in the cranial field, he does not currently offer cranial osteopathy. A keen sportsman (windsurfing, hockey, mountain biking and paddle boarding keep him busy when he's not at work) Andrew first became interested in osteopathy whilst being treated for a serious sports related injury. Hours of business are very flexible and we will do our best to arrange appointments to suit you wherever possible.

Hello, just to clarify Charminster Osteopathy will be staying open. Obviously I wear full PPE and sterilise the couch and surfaces in between patients. Stay safe and call me for an appointment or a chat if your isolating and feeling lonely😔

I am now open for emergency/urgent appointments. If you are thinking of visiting a GP surgery or the NHS hospital for your pain then you are allowed to visit an Osteopath instead in order to reduce the chances of catching or spreading the virus. Obviously you must be virus symptom free for 14 days prior to seeing me or leaving your home. I am also taking phone calls if you would like a chat or advice.
