On Friday 16th March we were invited to Twynham School for the “Razzmatazz with your glad rags” show which was put on by the students 😄🎶 It was a wonderful show and all the people who attended were given a bunch of flowers. A massive thank you to the school for inviting us, our residents had a delightful afternoon 👍

One of our residents couldn’t find a birthday gift for her friend in the shops 🎁 So, with the help of our activities team, she created 2 decoupage candles! 🕯️😊👍

Last week we celebrated our resident Margaret's 88th birthday! 🎉🎈🎂 Here she is blowing out the candles on her cake! 😄

We had a wonderful time celebrating Mother's Day last week 🌷 Individual chocolates and cards were given as gifts and the activities team, along with the help of our residents, worked on our Mother's Day board 👍

We had the fabulous Land Girls in to entertain us at Fairways last week 😄 We love it when they come to visit and we all feel very patriotic waving our British flags! 🇬🇧👍

We love using flowers to brighten up the home! 😊💐🏠 Now Spring is on its way, the daffodils are flowering and beautiful tulips are adorning the hallways 👍

We've been busy in the kitchen this week making some yummy raisin and chocolate chip cookies! 😄🍪👍

We had a new entertainer come in to sing for us recently called Jonathan Cotton! 🎶😄

All the residents loved his performance and it lifted everyone's spirits 👍

We took part in National Dignity Day last week with a Dig-ni-tea afternoon! ☕ The staff and residents reflected on what dignity meant to them and added leaves to our dignity tree. The delicious scones were enjoyed by all and it was a positive afternoon all round 😊👍

The adverse weather can't dampen our spirits at Fairways! 🌧️😄 As it was raining we decided to have a sing song in the lounge and as you can see the residents really enjoyed themselves! 👍

To celebrate National Puzzle Day on Monday our residents enjoyed an afternoon packed full of fun jigsaws and mind boggling games! 😄👍 We do this on a regular basis at Fairways to help our residents put their minds to work 🤔
