I have covid! 😔
I will need to cancel my appointments for the next week or so.
Although I don't feel great, I am grateful that due to the vaccines, in all probability all I will lose is a few days takings, not my life. 😊

My first test, negative, yay!! I will get testing myself twice weekly for the protection of my patients, and all those I may come in contact with.
By the way, it hurts!!!🥺

Queens Park chiropody will be opening from Monday 18th May.
Please feel free to book an appointment, (if you really need treatment right now), if you are not subject to the 12 week shielding, and do not have covid 19 symptoms. I look forward to welcoming you back into the surgery.

From Monday 4th May I will be seeing a few more patients. If you are fit and healthy, but feel your feet are going to suffer if you don't have a treatment soon, then please feel free to phone and book. Please do not come along if you have any symptoms of covid 19.
Laser and verruca appointments will not be accepted at the moment.

I previously said that I would be reopening on Monday 4th May. I said that, when it was my choice to close. Since the official lockdown, I have been keeping up to date with government advice, and will make a decision closer to the time whether or not to open. If I do, it will be part time, for younger, healthier people, with gaps to prevent people coming into contact with each other. Please keep an eye out here for further notice. I am of course keen to get back to work, but have the safety of everyone as my first priority.

Today I have been purchasing extra PPE, so that as soon as the rules on isolation are relaxed, I will be ready to resume service, safely. Your safety is my first priority.
