Sustainable style at Avon Cliff ♻️👗

Residents marked Global Recycling Day with their own fashion show, creating an outfit from recycled materials including cardboard, ribbon and costumes. Derek stepped in as model, showcasing a design inspired by Morris dancers with a creative twist!

Residents and team members from Avon Cliff came together to prepare freshly made packed lunches for families supported by Bournemouth Foodbank, our charity of the year.

The visit to the Boscombe hub offered a powerful insight into the scale of local need – and the dedication of more than 300 volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes.

For residents Edie and James, the experience was both moving and inspiring. Moments like these reflect the spirit within our homes, to stay connected, contribute, and support the communities around us.

Celebrating International Hot Chocolate Day! ☕🍫 Residents enjoyed mugs of hot chocolate with their favourite toppings and shared conversation and laughter.

A shopping trip to Westquay in Southampton! 🛍️🚌

Residents enjoyed coffee in M&S café before browsing familiar shops and trying some new ones, including Lush, Fat Face, and Pop Mart. Everyone returned smiling, with bags full of finds from the sales!

Our residents love visits from Evie and Lucy 🐾

Every second Thursday, the dogs and their owner Jane bring smiles, conversation, and companionship. Residents enjoy petting them and spending time together — a highlight of the week that everyone looks forward to!

A classic treat at Cooking Club this week 🍰🍪

Residents chose currant buns and had a lovely time. While baking, everyone shared favourite recipes and memories from the past. When the buns came out of the oven, we enjoyed them with a cup of tea — a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon!

Our team and residents were thrilled to hand over a cheque and hear more about how the money will help those in the community 🙌

Our lounge was buzzing recently as Victoria from Funny Boiler Disco transformed it into a dance hall!

Residents waltzed, jived, and danced along to party tunes, with flashing lights and lots of laughter 🎶
