Peaceful Pathways | Building a Bank of Associate Therapists (Ad Hoc Work)
Peaceful Pathways is expanding its work within residential care settings and is now seeking to build a bank of self-employed therapists for ad-hoc session delivery across Dorset and Hampershire.
I currently deliver regular sessions in 8 care homes, with further opportunities planned as capacity increases. This is not a part-time role, but a flexible opportunity suited to therapists who already run their own practice and wish to supplement their work.
Role Overview
Associate therapists will support:
• 1:1 holistic therapy sessions (massage, Reiki, calming touch, sound healing)
• Small group wellbeing sessions (sensory, relaxation, movement, sound)
Essential Requirements
• Recognised Massage qualification
• Recognised Reiki/Healing qualification
• Confident facilitating group spaces
• Warm, engaging, emotionally intelligent communication style
• Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach
Desirable (but not essential):
• Sound healing
• Gentle or mindful movement facilitation
(Training available via Peaceful Pathways-recommended courses, with costs reimbursed once fully qualified and working for Peaceful Pathways.)
Practical Criteria
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable vehicle & insurance
• Therapy and Public Liability Insurance
• Basic DBS
• Availability - 10-12 am and/or 2 - 5 pm, weekdays
• Self-employed status preferred
• £25ph
• Mileage is included within the session rate for travel up to 10 miles from the Therapist’s home. Travel beyond this distance may be claimed at 45p per mile with prior agreement.
