As the year draws to a close, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for PEACEFUL PATHWAYS and the work Iβm so privileged to do.
This year has been filled with heartfelt moments in nursing homes and care settings, 1:1 massage and healing sessions, gentle group work, mindfulness, self massage, movement, breath, music, and simple human connection. Work that often happens quietly, but deeply, offering comfort, dignity, and presence where itβs needed most.
Alongside this, Helpful Hounds Community Dogs has continued to bring a very special kind of magic. Watching residents light up as Umber and other community dogs arrive, seeing hands reach out for a soft ear or a warm cuddle, and witnessing the calming effect animals have on nervous systems has been profoundly moving. These visits remind me again and again how powerful touch, companionship, and unconditional presence truly are.
Peaceful Pathways isnβt about fixing or rushing, itβs about meeting people where they are, slowing down, listening, and creating moments of safety, calm, and connection. Whether through massage, breath, music, or the gentle presence of a dog, the work is always heart led.
Iβm deeply grateful to the care homes who welcome me in, the residents who trust me, the staff who support this work, and the wider community who believe in the importance of holistic, compassionate care.
This work fills my heart in ways I canβt quite put into words β and Iβm so thankful to continue walking this path π
