“The highest knowledge one could achieve in this life is self-knowledge” ~ Swami Sivananda
So much of life is lived on autopilot - reacting out of habit, fear, or conditioning without real awareness.
Self-knowledge is the practice of turning inward and understanding your thoughts, emotions, and intentions. It’s learning to respond from clarity and compassion instead of unconscious patterns.
This is where real inner growth begins.

The way you speak to yourself matters more than you realise.
Your inner dialogue shapes your beliefs, your confidence, and how you move through the world. The words you repeat become the stories you live by, and they reflect the level of compassion and self-love you have for yourself.
When you become aware of how you talk to yourself, you gain the power to change it.
Each morning, start by saying something kind, supportive, and encouraging about yourself. Over time, those words don’t just change your mood, they change how you see yourself and what you believe is possible.

My meditation practice is non-negotiable. I genuinely believe it’s one of the biggest life hacks we have.
Here are 3 real benefits of practising meditation.
Physical - It calms your body.
Meditation helps regulate your nervous system.
Your body shifts out of constant stress and into rest and repair. That’s why people sleep better, feel less tense, and have more energy.
Mental - it clears your mind.
You learn to notice your thoughts instead of being controlled by them.
That creates space. Less reacting. More clarity. Better emotional balance.
Spiritual - it deepens self-connection.
Over time, meditation helps you feel more grounded and self-aware. You realise you’re not your thoughts — you’re the one observing them.

Most of us try to change our life by fixing what’s out there.
More success.
Less stress.
Different circumstances.
But real change always starts within.
As Paramahansa Yogananda said:
“You are the master of the moments in your life.”
That doesn’t mean controlling everything around you, it means taking ownership of what’s happening inside you.
Your thoughts, your energy, your emotional state…
They shape how you see the world, how you respond, and ultimately what you create.
When you work on your inner world, your outer reality begins to shift, not because life magically changes, but because you do.
Meditation is one of the most practical ways to build that awareness and self-mastery, moment by moment.
If you’re ready to stop reacting on autopilot and start living with intention, I’ll guide you.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m bad at meditation” - this is for you.
Most people struggle not because they’re doing it wrong, but because they’ve been taught the wrong expectations.
These are three common mistakes I see all the time:
1️⃣ Trying to stop thoughts
2️⃣ Forcing calm or relaxation
3️⃣ Ignoring what the body is saying
Meditation isn’t about silence, control, or pushing through discomfort.
It’s about awareness, allowing, and learning to listen - to the mind and the body.
When you stop trying to perform meditation and start meeting your experience as it is, everything shifts.
This is exactly what we practise step-by-step inside my Introduction to Meditation Course - simple, practical tools that fits real life.

When gratitude appears, negativity disappears!
In meditation, we gently step out of the ego - the part of the mind that focuses on lack, fear, and comparison. As we bring awareness to the breath and reflect on the abundance already present in our lives, the nervous system softens and the mind begins to shift.
Over time, this practice creates new neural pathways, training the mind to recognise safety, possibility, and opportunity. From this space, positivity feels natural… and abundance becomes easier to receive and create.
This is one of the foundations we explore in my 4-Week Introduction to Meditation.

If your mind feels busy, loud, or impossible to switch off - pause here.
This breathing practice works because the long, slow exhale tells your nervous system that it’s safe to relax.
The counting gently pulls your attention out of looping thoughts and back into the body.
Simple. Practical. Powerful.
This is the kind of technique we build on inside my Meditation Course, where you’ll learn how to:
• quiet mental noise
• regulate stress and anxiety
• build steady focus and emotional resilience
• respond to life with clarity instead of reactivity

Most people give up on meditation because they think they’re doing it wrong.
They believe they need a clear mind… or that they should be able to control their thoughts.
That’s the biggest myth.
Meditation isn’t about stopping thoughts, it’s about recognising when the mind has wandered and gently bringing yourself back to the present moment. Again and again. That’s the practice.
That simple act of noticing and returning is what builds awareness, calm, and clarity.
And over time, it becomes a life skill - helping you respond instead of react, manage stress, and stay grounded no matter what’s happening around you.
Meditation doesn’t change life.
It changes how you experience life.

One of my favourite ways to meditate is through walking meditation.
No music.
No phone.
No conversation.
Just walking with presence.
I bring awareness to each step I take, each breath I breathe, and the space around me. As I walk, my mind naturally syncs with the rhythm of my steps and my breath.
Sometimes I quietly repeat a mantra or an affirmation. Other times, I simply offer gratitude for the abundance in my life.
It’s incredibly simple and really powerful.
If nothing else, it’s a beautiful way to clear the mind, calm the nervous system, and get some movement in.
If you’d like to experience a walking meditation with me, comment WALK and I’ll share the details.

After spending almost a lifetime working in the film industry, I was left exhausted, spiritually lost and not at peace. So I decided to go back to India, my home country on a quest to explore my spirituality and life purpose. Once there I took the opportunity and signed up to do my Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala. The teacher training was pretty intense and was taught in a traditional format of a yoga gurukulam, which I enjoyed and it resonated with me. It was a perfect practice for me to expand my mind, body and spirit.
The teacher training instilled spiritual awareness in me apart from learning valuable necessary skills on the mat. After the training I spent the following years developing my personal practise along with regular meditation. This I felt was challenging but an important part of the whole process, I was nurturing the seed of yoga within me. Through this process I gained life experience and knowledge on how to use yoga in my everyday life, not just on the mat but in every activity I do.
So it was important for me to make yoga simple, accessible and share my skills and knowledge with everyone.
Yoga for me is more than just a physical activity, it is the union of the mind, body and spirit, so my practice emphasises on mindfulness, physical wellness and inner peace.
ABOUT MY CLASS
I follow a simple yet highly effective Hatha Yoga practice. This style takes you back to basics, the core fundamentals of yoga and philosophy.
My classes have a strong focus on physical and mental wellbeing. I will guide you through relaxing asanas such as Savasana and Pranayama techniques before going through a series of Asanas which are done slowly and with control to stretch and strengthen the body as well as open the chakras.
My class is slow and simple but deep and challenging!
THAI YOGA MASSAGE
What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage (TYM) uses an energy line system—the Ten Sen—through which the body's natural life force flows. Blockages in this life force cause aches, pains and disease.
The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points on the energy lines, together with gentle stretching and applied Hatha Yoga. This releases blocked energy and frees the body's healing potential, restoring balance and harmony.
Originating in India and strongly linked to Buddhism, TYM is always practised in a meditative mood. It is said to be "the physical application of loving kindness".
How does it work?
Touch is a necessary part of our lives and is a key element in both our physical and mental health. In today's fast paced life, we often tend to lose touch with our mind and body. The therapy not only provides relaxation and feel good factor, but also creates a great possibility in people to experience wellbeing and meditative state of body and mind. These therapy sessions are continuous ongoing learning process for the giver and a receiver.
What are the benefits?
Enhances your practice of yoga, pilates, and other physical modalities,
Balances the body's energy pathways
Relieves pain due to arthritis, stress, and overworked muscles
Improves range of motion
Releases lactic acid and other toxins from areas of accumulation
