One of the greatest gifts yoga and meditation have given me is the ability to stay connected to myself, no matter what’s happening around me. It’s something work on everyday.

People will speak, react, and project from their own conditioning.
Yoga taught me how to pause instead of react.
Meditation taught me how to observe instead of get pulled in.

This is equanimity - remaining steady and grounded, even when life feels unpredictable.

Through daily practice, I’ve learned that peace isn’t found by controlling the world around us.
It’s cultivated within.
And the more we practice, the more natural that inner stability becomes.

This is how we can develop spiritual maturity - meeting life with awareness rather than reaction.

Headstand (Śīrṣāsana) has always held a special place in my practice. We practice this asana in my Saturday Classical Hatha class. It’s often called the king of all asanas, and over the years I’ve really come to understand why.

On a physical level, it gently reverses gravity’s pull on the body. It supports healthy circulation, boosts lymphatic flow, and builds strength through the shoulders, arms, and core. Practised with care, it helps develop balance, stability, and a feeling of lightness in the body.

Mentally, headstand keeps me honest. Being upside down brings up fear, doubt, and control, it encourages me to slow down, breathe, and stay present. There’s no forcing this pose. It’s a powerful teacher of patience, focus, and inner calm, especially when life feels uncertain or chaotic.

For me, headstand isn’t about achievement. It’s about awareness and presence.

I used to believe that change would come later - after I’ve done more healing, put in more effort, or when I finally felt ready. But what I’ve learned is that real transformation only happens now, and it happens through clarity.

Nothing shifted for me until I began to see myself and my patterns more clearly. That clarity didn’t come from thinking harder but it came from insight. From being willing to seek guidance, to sit with my teachers and coach who could help me see what I couldn’t see on my own.

A coach or spiritual teacher doesn’t give you answers but they help you access your own truth. Awareness creates movement.

We delay our growth when we think we have to do it all alone. Guidance accelerates insight, and insight changes everything.

Remember that the shift you’re waiting for begins with clarity, and clarity is available right now for you!

My altar at home is one of the places I return to again and again. It’s where I ground myself and reconnect when life feels noisy or rushed.

Even a few moments here by lighting a candle, sitting quietly, offering a prayer or intention - has a way of bringing me back into balance. It anchors me. It reminds me of what’s important and helps me move through my day with more presence and clarity.

For me, an altar isn’t about how it looks. It’s about the relationship I have with it, just a simple, daily devotion to stillness, faith, and remembering who I am beneath everything else.

SOUL FLOW - 75 Mins // Warm Class
WEDNESDAYS @ 1900

Slow down. Tune in. Flow deeper.

Take a midweek pause and dive into Soul Flow - a slow, mindful warm yoga practice that builds strength, opens your body, and reconnects you with yourself. Move through intentional sequences, hip-openers, and heart-expanding poses to release tension and awaken energy.

You’ll leave feeling stronger, more flexible, and deeply grounded - body, mind, and soul.

All levels welcome—just bring your mat and your energy!

CLASSICAL HATHA YOGA - 90 mins // Warm Class
SATURDAYS @ 1130

This class is a simple yet highly effective Hatha Yoga practice designed to support your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Over 90 minutes, you’ll be guided through all elements of a traditional Hatha class: pranayama, sun salutations, postures, and savasana - all done slowly and mindfully to stretch, strengthen, and balance your body and mind.

Open to all levels, this class is a perfect step up from beginner sessions. If you’re completely new to yoga, check in with me beforehand and I’ll suggest variations to make the practice accessible for you.

Expect a medium level of challenge, giving you the space to deepen your yoga practice while enjoying a rewarding and meaningful experience on your mat.

After our Classical Hatha class, I’ll be offering an optional 15 minutes of chanting or meditation — a space to settle, centre, and connect a little deeper.

Bhakti Yoga reminds us that devotion is a path of love — whether through mantra, silence, or simple presence.

If you’d like to stay, you’re warmly welcome. And if you need to head off after Savasana, that’s perfectly fine too.

The practice is always yours, and the divine meets you wherever you are.

In this world filled with chaos, fear, confusion, anger, and division — the eternal play of light and darkness, good versus evil, that has unfolded across millennia — let us pause for a moment.

A moment to acknowledge and appreciate the blessings we hold in our lives, right here, right now. Even the smallest gifts, so easily overlooked, are worthy of our deepest gratitude.

I am grateful for:

A safe home — a roof over my head, a warm, peaceful space that offers safety, rest, and comfort.

Accessibility to nourishing food — for the ease and abundance of wholesome, nourishing meals available to me with simplicity and ease.

The safety and wellbeing of my family and loved ones — forever grateful for their health, protection, and presence in my life.

My health and mental clarity — a strong, capable body and a steady, focused mind that allows me to embrace each day with purpose.

I am an instrument of Yoga!

The seeds of this ancient, sacred practice were planted within me by my teachers. Through every challenge, every lesson, and every breakthrough, Yoga has been my anchor — a path that’s guided me from darkness to clarity, from resistance to grace.

What I share isn’t just technique. It’s the wisdom of lived experience. It’s the holistic philosophy I’ve embodied over years of personal practice, growth, and healing. My journey toward inner peace and spiritual awakening continues, and each class I teach is an offering from that space.

Grateful for every soul I get to share space with on the mat. Each practice is a little reminder that we’re all walking each other home, one breath at a time.

My Practice

After spending almost a lifetime working in the film industry, I was left exhausted, spiritually lost and not at peace. So I decided to go back to India, my home country on a quest to explore my spirituality and life purpose. Once there I took the opportunity and signed up to do my Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala. The teacher training was pretty intense and was taught in a traditional format of a yoga gurukulam, which I enjoyed and it resonated with me. It was a perfect practice for me to expand my mind, body and spirit.

The teacher training instilled spiritual awareness in me apart from learning valuable necessary skills on the mat. After the training I spent the following years developing my personal practise along with regular meditation. This I felt was challenging but an important part of the whole process, I was nurturing the seed of yoga within me. Through this process I gained life experience and knowledge on how to use yoga in my everyday life, not just on the mat but in every activity I do.

So it was important for me to make yoga simple, accessible and share my skills and knowledge with everyone.

Yoga for me is more than just a physical activity, it is the union of the mind, body and spirit, so my practice emphasises on mindfulness, physical wellness and inner peace.
