Create your mini-forest to take home 🌿✨

Just a reminder on our upcoming workshop in Talbot Village Woods on Saturday, 20th September.

Ever dreamed of having your own little forest? In this fun workshop, we’ll turn simple glass jars (provided) into magical green worlds! You’ll get to play with soil, moss, tiny plants, and decorations to build a mini ecosystem that you can proudly take home.

Our final Wildlings of the summer!

🌍 Last Tuesday we went on an Earthwalk - a sensory adventure. We explored the different textures of the trees, took bark rubbings, listened to the sounds in the woods and created sound maps.

💚 “The Wildlings is something we have looked forward to each week over the summer holidays.

It has been a great way to reconnect with nature/natural world, with my child in a peaceful, calm and safe, loving space. Thank you all for organising” 💚

We still have a few spaces left for our last WILDLINGS school holiday event in Talbot Village Woods.

This Tuesday (10am - 12 pm) we are going on an adventure to explore the enchanted woods through all our senses. We will create pictures from tree bark and plant rubbings, will explore different textures through touch, will listen to all the sounds around us and create a sound map and will do lots of other things. Maybe we will even find a treasure...
As usual, we will taste our treats cooked on the fire.

Only a few spaces left for our next WILDLINGS adventure in Talbot Village Woods tomorrow (Tue, 19th August) morning.

This week we are going to sculpt trolls, elves, goblins or create the face of the green man on a tree with clay, twigs, and other forest finds.

Then gather round the fire pit as we spin magical tales to bring your woodland creature to life.
We also will have a treat, cooked on the fire.

A craft and storytelling adventure full of wonder - for imaginative kids and their grown-ups!

Wildlings - Nature’s Art Studio

🌿”A gorgeous space and everyone is so welcoming! Just the right amount of structure and free play” 🌿

We had a wonderfully creative workshop on Tuesday. We made everything from birds nests, hanging art, boats...some of us even built a den 🪵

📖 Each session we start with a poem and end with a gratitude rhyme.

🪺 One of our young people told the story of the poem in her beautiful sculptures; starting with making a nest with eggs, then little chicks and then the chicks flying the nest 🕊️

To pause, to play, to pop corn! This was last Tuesday’s Wildlings workshop.

The children loved the time for free play in the woods, for creative curiosity and making with what we find around us.

It’s been a welcoming space too for parents to meet other parents and enjoy peaceful, creative time outdoors with their children

And the popcorn over a fire was a hit!

Women in the Woods - Last night we celebrated the Sturgeon Full Moon around a fire, with words, music and kindness.

So many amazing women with their beautiful energy. We journaled, shared, drew an oracle card, drummed and sang.

Feeling very grateful that this offering is so well received, we are looking forward to the next one!

🔥 Come join us on Wednesday 3rd September at 5:45 to celebrate our next full moon.

✨As the evenings start to draw in we will experience that special change in the woods.

Women coming together in the woods, sitting around the fire, sharing their stories and gifts, listening, acknowledging and empowering each other is such an important ancient celebration which we don't do enough anymore.
Join us in Talbot Village Woods to connect with the August’s Full Moon, known as the Sturgeon Moon. This moon is aligned with themes of resilience, emotional depth, and rediscovering your authentic self. What have you been holding under the surface that’s ready to rise?
Please feel free to bring your drums and other instruments or other things you like to share like poems, stories, songs... This evening will be about co-creation and letting each other shine in our full potential.
