📢 Attention all Supporters of Save Poole Crematorium 📢

URGENT UPDATE: Mark your calendars for the BCP Council cabinet meeting on September 6th.

This gathering holds the key to the future investment in electric cremators at Poole Crematorium. Our community's passion for this issue is undeniable, and we're still inspired by the unity you showed when we fought for new cremators in 2022.

despite previous endorsements and overwhelming public support, a recent recommendation from officials calls for a suspension of investment in the crucial electric cremators at Poole Crematorium. Additionally, an evaluation of the operational model for BCP Bereavement Care Services is on the horizon.

Our Concerns are as follows:

🔴 The absence of consultation with the public or funeral directors, denying us a voice.
🔴 Lingering doubts about the accuracy and legitimacy of the presented data.
🔴 The failure to present alternatives for exploring private investment options.
🔴 The team advocating for this investment pause, BCP Bereavement Management, has, in our perspective, previously exhibited ineffective management of the department.

Our cherished communities and our families deserve better. It's imperative that we have facilities catering to the unique needs of our neighbourhoods, ensuring our loved ones are cared for locally, without subjecting families to additional strain or inconvenience.

📣 It's time to make our voices echo 📣

Reach out to local council representatives, share this critical message, and let the BCP Council know that Poole and its communities stand together in unwavering support for continued crematorium investment. Together, we'll ensure transparent decisions that put our interests first.

Your steadfast support is deeply appreciated.

Warm regards,
Save Poole Crematorium

A small and intimate company We are a small family business who mainly carry out funerals within the BH postal area, but we are experienced and capable of undertaking a funeral elsewhere in this country or abroad if the situation demands. We feel we concentrate on things that really matter most - a personal and reliable service at a reasonable price.

Day and night service We provide a twenty-four hour service every day of the year. Outside the normal office opening hours, the directors Trevor, Michael or Roger Smith personally receive all telephone calls and are able to offer advice and guidance if a death has occurred. Also any non-urgent enquiries can usually be answered during the daytime or before 9.00pm any evening
