HOW I DO IT:
I work with adults around the world who feel stuck and want to change with hypnotherapy, counselling, coaching and training. I also bring skills from working as a nurse and nurse educator for over 30 years and training as a psychologist. I can help people with medical issues, stress and anxiety issues, goal setting, habits and struggles with learning and exams. As a result, people feel listened to and find new ways to feel better and achieve their goals. WHO I WORK WITH:
I have experience working with adults from all backgrounds, but the thing they all have in common is that they want to change something in their lives and can feel in control again. I love to work with people who need to get past self-limiting beliefs or have habits or fears that are blocking their way. This includes people with work-related or personal issues. As I also trained as a TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Second Language) many years ago I have a special passion for helping people who are struggling to learn a second language by addressing the psychological aspects and motivating them to learn more. BACKGROUND:
I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, to improve not only myself but also working in helping professions to develop others. My background is in nursing, teaching and therapy work. I am qualified and experienced with an MSc in Hypnosis, research, medicine & clinical practice, an MSc in Psychology, BSc(Hons) in Nursing, and an MA in Interprofessional health & community care. We understand the cultural pressure to suppress emotion, but suppressing grief doesn't make it disappear—it only makes it heavier. Healing requires a gentle space to process loss without judgment, whether you're mourning a loved one, a change in life circumstance, or the loss of a treasured pet.
