Magickal things happen when women gather in the woods.. a deeply amazing weekend was had, transformation, letting go and being with super strong awesome women, no egos, just trust, love and laughter. A weekend that has changed me profoundly. Deeper onto my path I walk with a sisterhood like I’ve never experienced before 🐝

A beautiful weekend spent foraging the wild and infusing oils for face, body and hair. The jars are now resting in the sun, slowly solar-infusing for the next 42 days as plant spirit, sunlight and time weave their quiet magick. In a few weeks, they’ll become some rather gorgeous new potions. ✨🌿

Golden gorse lighting up the hedgerows 🌼

In folklore, gorse is a plant of the sun and hope. Because it flowers almost all year, it became a symbol that light always returns, even in the darkest seasons.

There’s an old saying:“When gorse is out of bloom, kissing is out of fashion.”

Today I’m foraging some of these golden blossoms to slowly infuse into oil — capturing a little of the sun’s warmth and medicine from the land.
