⭐️ Announcement ⭐️

It is with regret we bring you the news that sadly Rebecca and Claire are leaving, with the PetFit service closing its doors on 24th April 2025.

All appointments in the diary up until and including the 24th April are confirmed and we can't wait to see you for some final waggy moments 🐾

It's been a fantastic experience working alongside all of the wonderful pets, owners and veterinary colleagues in the area and the past 9 and half years have seen some of the most rewarding times in our careers.

All active clients have been emailed and individual care plans are being discussed with each client directly by Rebecca & Claire to ensure ongoing care. For queries please get in touch on admin@petfithydro.co.uk 01202 555553 or 07901974283

Congratulations to Toffee on her first agility win since her cruciate injury 🥳

Toffee started rehab for a mild hind limb lameness suspected to be from a low level cruciate injury, we also found that she has notable pain in her other knee from patella instability. We monitored her closely and made sure to resolve any areas of pain, muscle weakness, compensation, and abnormal gait patterns before getting her back to agility but she's been fighting fit and moving very well with no pain so we gave her the aok and she showed us she's feeing as fit as ever!

How cute is Benji 😍😍

Benji has started physiotherapy for pain management to help with his syringomyelia, we do this magnet therapy, laser therapy and fascial release techniques to resolve any fascial pain and inflammation through his neck and back.

Today he started some light hydrotherapy to strengthen his shoulders and hind limbs that have started to weaken slightly and safe to say as long as there's treats, Benji is a keen little lad!

It's wonderful to be part of a team effort to help with Benjis chronic pain management

Lottie is doing amazing! Lottie suffered a left hind cruciate rupture a couple of months ago, leaving her with a painful lameness where she couldn't properly weight bear. She had become uncomfortable, lethargic, not wanting to play, and overall, her happiness levels were at an all-time low.

Thankfully, following a few sessions of physiotherapy for pain relief, hydrotherapy for strengthening and weightless walking, and an adjustment in her pain management with her vet, she has improved massively! She's now back to being her playful lovable self with only a very mild lameness if she's walked a bit too far.

Hopefully, after a couple more months of rehab, she should be back to normal life.
