I hate doing these kind of posts and as a small business it's always difficult to request that people pay for services that haven't been received. However, as of 1st February I will be strictly enforcing my 'did not attend' policy, as listed on all communications sent to you.

As a reminder of this, full payment for appointments not attended will be requested of you.

As always, I understand things can happen last minute so if contact is made within 24 hours of your appointment time, I am happy to reschedule for you. However, non attendance without contact will require full payment.

I have lots of people on my cancellation list, or have been trying to get in to see me for a few weeks. This is therefore I slot I could have filled.
I rely on your attendance to pay my own wages and run my business.

I hope you appreciate this and can understand why the fee will be enforced from this point.

Many thanks 😊

New clients often wonder why I ask information about their work and lifestyle when we first meet. More often than not it can be something they are doing or using regularly that is so habitual that they don't even consider it a cause of their issues. That's the reason.

Sometimes an overall history taking or different perspective can highlight the potential cause of pain, tightness or discomfort.

Here are a few examples of things that cause people the most issues in daily life that I am seeing at the moment.

Have a think about what you do repetitively and if there are any adjustments you can make to reduce discomfort!

Or book in and I can have a chat with you, do a nice massage and help you going forwards πŸ˜‰

A few exciting things going on in January!

Yesterday I offered to be a 'test subject' for the Level 3 sports massage course learners assessments . Really interesting to be on the opposite side of the table, as it were!

In a few weeks i'll be doing a very interesting 2 day course with .williams.mvmnt on DermoNeuro Modulation! I"ll let you know more about this and how it works after!

And finally, something completely out of the norm for us, we're having a short winter sun break at the end of the month so I'll keep you posted on the days I won't be working!

Until then, there are only a few slots left in January if you would like an appointment! See you soon.

✨ Stepping out of 2025 and into 2026 with gratitude and pride ✨

This year has been a big one.
πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ 819 appointments completed
🀍 163 new clients, with the rest being wonderfully loyal returners
πŸŽ“ Level 5 qualification completed earlier this year.

I’m so grateful for every single client who’s trusted me with their body, supported my journey, and had faith in what I do. Your ongoing custom truly means more than you know.

2025 has been about growth β€” growing as a practitioner, refining my skills, and being proud to offer truly bespoke treatments, tailored to each individual who walks through my door.

Here’s to continuing that journey into 2026 with positivity, passion, and purpose ✨

🎾 Tennis Elbow vs πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ Golfer’s Elbow β€” What’s the Difference?

Although both are forms of tendinopathy caused by overuse of the forearm muscles, they affect different sides of the elbow:

✨ Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis)

Pain on the outside of the elbow

Caused by overuse of the wrist and finger extensors

Common with gripping, lifting, typing, and racket sports

✨ Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)

Pain on the inside of the elbow

Caused by overuse of the wrist and finger flexors

Common with throwing, gripping, and repetitive wrist flexion

πŸ‘‰ Both conditions can cause aching, weakness, and discomfort during everyday tasks β€” and both respond well to early treatment, soft tissue work, and load management.

HOWEVER! Although pain may be felt in these areas, thorough assessment before treatment is beneficial to ensure this is not as a result of any other issue, such as a radial or ulnar nerve, wrist, armpit/ shoulder or neck problem!

Clients often ask me if there are any additional supplements that can help with their ailments. Im not a nutritionist or doctor so I am often a little reserved with this information. However, I can say that taking these four supplements have massively helped me with joint and muscle aches and quicker recovery after a long day of massage. Ultimately a good diet, mobility, heat and regular massage are always the winners in my eyes! What else do you use that helps?

*please understand what you are taking, interactions with medications and allergies and seek medical advice if unsure.
