We currently have a delivery round available in Evenley, distributing the Life in Brackley magazine once a month to homes and businesses in the village.

We may also have delivery rounds becoming available in Brackley in the near future. If this is something that may be of interest to you, we would love to hear from you. 💌

This is a great opportunity for someone reliable and friendly who enjoys being out and about in our lovely local area while helping keep the community connected.

Give the gift of time at Stowe House this winter ❄️

Did you know it takes over 60 local volunteers to help keep Stowe House open and thriving? As an independent charity, Stowe relies on the generosity of people who give their time to welcome visitors, care for the collection, support events and share the stories that make this place so special.

If you are looking to do something meaningful this winter, volunteering at Stowe House is a great place to start. With flexible roles, full training and a friendly team, it is a rewarding way to meet new people, learn new skills and support a much loved local landmark. 🏰

Stowe House is open at weekends during the winter months, making it the perfect destination for a refreshing walk and a warming stop indoors. Dogs are welcome in the Visitor Centre, so everyone can enjoy a visit.

As the year comes to a close, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported brackley.co.uk and the Life in Brackley magazine over the past twelve months. It is truly an honour to be part of the Brackley community and to play a small role in bringing local businesses and local people together. 🥰

From the businesses who trust us to share their stories, to the readers who continue to engage, comment and support what we do, we are so grateful. Brackley is full of passion, creativity and community spirit, and it is a privilege to help celebrate that.

Over the past few weeks we have been working hard behind the scenes on some exciting changes to the magazine, along with new projects we are really looking forward to introducing in 2026. We cannot wait to share more with you, so keep your eyes peeled.

We are well into the season of giving, kindness, and looking out for one another, and this is a story that really matters to our community. 🏡

Dementia Active is bringing connection, confidence, and real joy to people living with dementia across North Oxfordshire and South Northamptonshire. Through welcoming activity sessions in Banbury and Evenley, they help local people stay active, feel valued, and remain part of the community they love.

From gentle exercise and dancing to crafts, games, shared lunches, and plenty of laughter, Dementia Active is about more than filling time. It is about belonging, understanding, and seeing smiles return, both for those living with dementia and for their carers. 🧩

Charley and Phoenix had the absolute pleasure of being invited out yesterday with the Mayor of Brackley, Bernie Tiller, to help judge Brackley’s best Christmas lights.

There were some truly incredible homes and streets to see, and we have loved every trip out visiting them all. The effort, creativity, and festive spirit on display was amazing.

We are so proud to share that our charity Christmas cards have now sold out and together we have raised an amazing £820 for SNYE 🎄✨

Every single penny raised goes directly to SNYE, helping support the incredible work they do for young people in our area by creating safe spaces, opportunities, confidence and brighter futures 💙

A huge thank you to Topsy Turvey, The Old Hall Bookshop and St Peter’s Church for kindly offering to sell our cards and supporting this initiative 🙌🏻

And the biggest thank you to Taylor Allen for her beautiful hand illustrated artwork that made this card so very special 🎨
