CBT helps you start seeing the positives within your day, rather than writing the whole day off as a bad one. We would work on this to tip the balance from a mostly negative day to a mostly positive day. This then raises mood, controls anger and unacceptable behaviours and gives you a little bit of yourself back. Then we build you back up to be happy and coping with life again. X

Mental health is a hidden illness so yes, you will still be making a difference to someone else’s day. Despite them not knowing that you’re suffering. So well done you for keeping going, but you do have to look after yourself too x

Does anyone notice if the laundry bin is full? Unlikely!
If you’ve not managed to make the dinner! Just get take out!
You are much more important than the daily tasks.
Take a break, read, watch tv, walk, have coffee with a friend.
Give me one good reason why you shouldn’t? X

Be gentle with how much pressure you put on yourself. Work out what can wait, you’re far more important than a lot of the things you give prior to. Rest when you need to, and find one thing a day that you are grateful for. It helps the mindset but CBT will help if you have much more going on so pm me xx
