Drishti, meaning “focused gaze,” is more than just where we set our eyes—it’s about where we direct our attention. In yoga, our drishti not only helps with physical balance but also enhances mental clarity and concentration. It teaches us to find stillness amidst the movement, to be present in the moment, and to connect deeply with our practice.

When we focus on a point, we’re training our minds to focus on the present, leaving distractions behind. Whether it’s looking over the fingertips in Warrior II or gazing straight ahead in Tree Pose, your drishti can transform the experience of your practice.

Next time you’re on the mat, try bringing more awareness to your drishti and notice the shift in both body and mind.

Adaptability: Sessions can be adapted to accommodate any injuries or health concerns. I can modify poses to suit your needs & help you work towards healing or strengthening.

Goal Setting: We can work together to set goals, whether they are related to flexibility, strength, stress reduction, or overall well-being.

Convenience: Classes can be scheduled at a time & location that is convenient for you. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for those with busy schedules!

New Class Announcement 📣 Yoga Stretch

An all-levels yoga class where mindful movements are paired with calming stretches. We will introduce breath work and meditation techniques to open up the lungs and down regulate the nervous system.

You’ll cultivate strength and release tension at the same time. It’s the perfect cool down after a Barch class!

and I will be alternating leading this one every Saturday morning - we hope to see you there!
