So I’m not very good at social media promotion (demotion?) … but this is a post that needs to be done. It is with a heavy heart that I have to let you my valued customers (who too have become friends) know that I will be ‘shutting shop’ on the 31st of January. Yes, after 20 long years of having ‘my shop’ - the high street (or just off it for me) in Brackley has become practically deserted and footfall has fallen drastically since the three coffee shops closed down in three months - which for a small business like myself, doesn’t bode well…. So - I’m going to change things a bit and give it a go and operate ‘remotely’ - I will still have my van and, yes, for the foreseeable future I will answer calls and be able to provide new and hire equipment and aids and do repairs and servicing - the same level of service as before, just without having a high street presence. It’s been an emotional time making this huge decision, but one I feel at this stage in my life, is necessary. We will be selling off bits and pieces over the next three weeks at very cheap prices - so please get in touch if there’s anything you want … happy to talk and ‘negotiate’.
It’s been an honour to have had so many of you pop into my shop over the years - many coffees, laughs, hugs and tears have been shared and that is what I’m going to miss the most (oh and I love helping people and feeling I’ve made life easier / more comfortable) … so it’s not ‘good bye’ it’s au revoir I’ll see you around and remember - if you need any mobility equipment, stairlift, household aids - I’m still here, just not so physically visible … Lindsey ###
