Brackley Fields Country House is a family run care home for the elderly situated in Brackley It was extended in 2007 to provide 34 beds in 33 rooms.

Brackley Fields was established in 1986 and under present ownership from 1995. Twenty one bedrooms are single en-suite, 11 are single rooms and one double room, ostensibly for a couple. The Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission to accept 34 elderly people over 65 years of whom some may have mild dementia

We accept residents who have mild dementia insofar that they are able to integrate in our community without detriment to the quality of life of other users. Our excellent working relationship with the 3 local GP practices ensures that medical and nursing support, when required, is timely.

We had a taste of Mexio yesterday 😋 🇲🇽 some found the food a bit spicy, the sour cream was appreciated and the Hot Chocolate was a favourite 😍

A big thank you to everyone, we raised £540.68 for Dementia UK at the Resident's summer BBQ. Thank you to The Buckingham Butcher for donating a prize for the tombola and Billy de Laine for entertaining us all 🎶🎵🎤

We've had a very busy week, we had a new entertainer called Billy Laine which our residents really enjoyed so we hope to have him visit again. We did some flower arranging this afternoon and earlier in the week we got creative and did some painting 🖼 😀

Carpet Boules is an activity that our residents are very competitive over, our lovely Joan used to play boules and very much enjoys the game, she managed to reclaim the cup this week so was very pleased 👏🏆🎳

Yesterday we made bird feeders and today we made fat balls to go in the feeders, the birds 🐦 will be well fed!

On Saturday 16th of August, we are hosting our annual summer BBQ. We would like to invite your families and friends to join us and your loved one for an afternoon of good food, drinks and fun.

We will be charging an entrance fee to raise funds for charity, aswell as running a tombola.

Please bring cash with you to pay entrance at the gate, we cannot accept card payment.

You can RSVP via email, in person or over the phone. Let us know of any allergies and dietary requirements.
